In reply to: [Polylang] Posts in one language don't get indexed in GoogleI almost finished to reinstall the website and put up a test: I published a post in english, and its equivalent in french, to see how long it will take for them to be indexed (if indexed at all, for the french one…).
I really don’t see any reason why the french aren’t indexed. Did you already hear about such issues with Polylang?
If the french “test post” (and the one from earlier) still don’t get indexed I will try to deactivate Polylang for a day or two to see what happens.

In reply to: [Polylang] Posts in one language don't get indexed in GoogleThanks for pointing it, I will correct that. I’m currently reinstalling the site and didn’t config everything.
Nonetheless, it’s not what’s causing the unindexing of the french pages. Yesterday I checked the sitemaps and they were including post, pages, tags and categories. I will set up the plugin right now in the same way ??

In reply to: [Polylang] Posts in one language don't get indexed in GoogleHi Chrystl,
Here is the URL: https://www.elnidoparadise.com/
I deleted Polylang, the reinstalled it and I’m currently reinstalling the site. But the posts in english and french are already published. Here is an example of french post that doesn’t get index:

Other posts in french are indexed because I manually required their indexation via the Google Search Console (they were indexed almost instantly).
Thanks for your help!

In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] Broken Link Checker stopped workingNB: I know this is not the topic of this thread, but I don’t know where to post a new topic about BLC…
Hi,
I’d like to know how to reset the data of BLC. I noticed as “not broken” several links that were indeed, and I’d like BLC to show them to me again.
Thanks !
PS : I already tried to uninstall the plugin and reinstall it but it didn’t work.
The lay-out is quite unusual though… Not 550px as I set it and you don’t see the photo when commenting.
Do you have any idea how to deal with that?
Thanks for the answer! It does work in another browser (Safari) but not in Firefox…
Hi,
I’m having similar troubles with this plugin.
The comments don’t show up. I replace
do_action(‘comment_form’, $post->ID);
by :
do_action(‘comment_form_after’, $post->ID);
It doesn’t work. I tried to add it after too, but I’m not sure of what to do. How should it look like (the code)?
do_action(‘comment_form’,’comment_form_after’, $post->ID);
Thanks for theses informations.
Though, it doesn’t work on my site…Hi Haypurcell,
Thanks for the info but it doesn’t work for me. When I try to add the App IDs, the plugin causes an error page saying the header can’t be modified.
I’ll just wait until I get FB Comments for WP to work again. Or find another plugin that does the job.
Hi,
It used to work well on the last WP version for me. But I’m facing another problem.
I deactivated all my plugins at once (including Facebook Comments for WordPress) and now it seems impossible to reactivate this plugin…
When I try so, it just crashes my site and my admin (but only on my computer – it’s good to go as soon as I erase cache). I just get a “The connection has been reinitialized” page at this adress: …/wp-admin/plugins.php?action=activate&plugin=facebook-comments-for-wordpress%2Ffacebook-comments.php&plugin_status=inactive&paged=1&s&_wpnonce=…
I have no idea why it does so. I tried to update the plugin, to use an older version and even to re-update WP. Nothing works when it comes to reactivating the plugin. ??
Any help would be greatly appreciated. ??
I also received an email with that title: “[Facebook Comments for WordPress] Your current XID” to send me my XID to retrieve my comments if I “ever choose to activate this plugin again”. My choice is made: I will reactivate! But how?…
Hi,
I don’t know where to post that but I have a problem with your plugin.
I deactivated it and now it’s impossible to reactive it… It just crashes my site for one or two minutes.I also received a mail from the plugin named “Your current XID” while doing that.
It isn’t a conflict, because I deactivated all the plugins.
Also, I tried installing and older version of the plugin.
Any idea why it’s impossible to reactive it?

In reply to: [Plugin: Facebook Comments for WordPress] Doesn’t work for meOk, problem solved:
You just have to paste the rest of the code in the theme files (for example index.php, etc.).
Not very simple, but it works.
Still, if you have an easier solution, I’m ready for it! ??
