In reply to: Trouble with Custom Fields/ get_post_meta_dataI feel so entirely silly. Apparently, Exec-PHP wasn’t actually.. executing this PHP within my post. It works in the theme files, however.

I would want to be able to select whether to disable autop when creating/editing a page from within the dashboard. Does/can something like this exist?

In reply to: Issues With Staying Logged InI realized I had the wrong URL entered for Blog Address in General Settings. How silly am I. Perhaps this might help someone else in the future.

In reply to: Cancel comment reply link not workingEeps, this is actually what I am working with:
<?php // Do not delete these lines if (!empty($_SERVER['SCRIPT_FILENAME']) && 'comments.php' == basename($_SERVER['SCRIPT_FILENAME'])) die ('Please do not load this page directly. Thanks!'); if (!empty($post->post_password)) { // if there's a password if ($_COOKIE['wp-postpass_' . COOKIEHASH] != $post->post_password) { // and it doesn't match the cookie ?> <p class="nocomments">This post is password protected. In reply to: Error 500 when posting or savingApparently, this was only happening with longer posts and was due to mod_security. I have since found an answer.

In reply to: Error 500 when posting or savingI see this is a problem with some servers. I have several installs on the same server which are not experiencing this issue.

In reply to: Error 500 when posting or savingTo add, I’ve deactivated -all- plugins an it still happens so it’s not interference.

In reply to: Adding Content After Every Other PostI have found I can do this using an if statement and post count but I’d like to use a little less code.
For example
<?php if ($count==2) { echo getad('ads'); } ?>
But if I want something to appear after all the even posts (and I display up to 10 posts a page) that’s 5 repetitions I need to use.
Is there a way to specify after the ‘even’ posts?

In reply to: How ? my Blog with my existing websiteYes, you can absolutely install on the same server. All you need is database access.

In reply to: moving wp to root messing with the rest of site loading up properly?You could use a different file name than index.php and have that single file in the main directory. There are also plugins to increase SEO although I’m not sure what the specific affect will be in relation to this issue.
