I managed to export then import and get rid of them. Honestly I have no idea how I did it, I create CPT’s every day and know that the first field should be slug friendly. It was late at night, i didn’t get a warning so I have no idea! Sorry Michael!! Put it down to me having a pleb moment x

Yeah – with a contact form 7 email the subject line is just the default “contact form submission”..its the from address that is pulling the wp-comm admin email address settings, but only when the setting in your plugin to skin those emails is active! Im about to pass out now but Ill do some testing on a staging server tomorrow and let you know. For now ill stick to gravity forms and hard coding a template. It probably doesnt help my case that I havent updated wp-ecomm in a while, just have had too many issues with newer version, keep reverting back to what is stable! thanks for your prompt replies, it’s appreciated.

Yeah i get ya – except if some one sends an email to us through say contact form 7 – we cant tell who sent it and thus cannot reply! No great ?? I’ve changed to gravity forms now which includes the from email in the message body instead…just wish I’d known early so I didnt have to be reemed about them not being able to reply to the first email they’ve got -_-

Hey Jacob! im just running some tests now to provide better information! Basically if I set your plugin to skin shop and general site emails, it is somehow overwriting the “from field” with the site admin email – so any email i get from the site, whether from the shop or someone sending an email through the contact form, is coming from the site admin email, not from the sender..in essence, we are not getting the email addresses of the people contacting us and there for cannot reply!!
