@robeendey Hello there ,
Yes I was able to get that settled and my site is working 1000% we are in business. There are 3 things you will need to get this to work right out the box…#1. Download and install of course PMpro Plugin :https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/paid-memberships-pro/
#2. You will need a Affiliate program, which pmPro is compatible with a few but i recommend : So buy and install WP AFFILIATE https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/products CHOOSE from the products list WP AFFILIATE
#3. You will also need a plugin for them to communication with each other which is also Jasons ( the creator of PMpro) : Its here: Integrate Paid Memberships Pro with WP Affiliate Platform https://gist.github.com/strangerstudios/3137539
Once you have all those your good to go. Now i will tell you if you are SERIOUS about running your membership site, know that its a peace of mind to have a team in your back pocket that knows your needs and able to reply and give you support quickly. You should get into the MEMBERS ONLY forum for PMpro : PRICELESS I’m in !! and I’ll tell ya when we launched and had issues being a member was priceless to get help within a few hours. so think about it.. https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/
P.S some stuff I can’t say in this public forum because it takes away from the paid members only forum. sooo with that said I think this is enough to get you going..
GOOD LUCK – & BE PERSISTENT & YOU WILL PROSPERJust in case someone else needed to fix this later, the cause was because the TROUBLE site did not have Js composer plugin activated in their dashboard. So the code that I placed in the Functions.ph file was looking for Js composer and it was not activated which cause the error.
So lesson is anytime you place extra code in the functions.php makes the plugin thats associated with that code is activated.
@essaysnark Hows it going? Just wanted to stop by and help you out, being that this ext requires you to add this to your Functions.php file of the active theme you are using? My thought would be to ask Did you update your theme recently possibly overwriting your functions.php file.
If you did have important details within you functions.php file, you can possible retrieve a backup from your hosting provider. Just tell them the case and they can possible go back and get the old file, usually within a week of the last previous update the hosting provider ran.
That would be my idea on this matter, buzz back in if you have any further details on this.
Thanks

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Conversion trackingOh yes I see the issue you are having. Hmmm let me think and look around a bit im sure there is a solution for this.. right now im in search for something specific as well and that is “how to grab an affiliate ID from a cookie stored on the visitor computer ” GRab it and pass into the Contact from 7

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Conversion trackingTake a look at this https://elementdesignllc.com/2011/11/contact-form-7-get-parameter-from-url-into-form-plugin/
Its plugin addon for contact form 7, it will grab any URL PARAMETER you have like https://www.YOURSITE.com/?aff_id=JOE
So if you have incoming traffic leads that are filling out your contact form 7, you will use the info as shown in the plugin I just sent
It will grab the aff_id=JOE part from the url
https://elementdesignllc.com/2011/11/contact-form-7-get-parameter-from-url-into-form-plugin/
I use it and it works as long as the AFF ID is shown in the url upon submission of the contact form 7.
Thank You the code is working !!! EXCELLENT thank you
Thank you so much @david Sader for helping out… okay i want to take route #2. But when I place the php code it does not work cause its telling me

eval()’d code on line 1 and defined in /home/writemy/public_html/go/wp-includes/link-template.php on line 2260
Have any idea what I need to do, can you tell me how to properly link this Echo so I can make a hyper link Text needs to say “My Dashboard
Thanks a million
By default, system generated emails are sent from [email protected]. You can update this from address :
#1. Login your wp dashboard click on the PMP Membership Tab and you will see EMAIL SETTINGS : update the email from this point.
#2. Scroll down the page (email settings page) make sure you have UNCHECKED that box : Default WP notification email. (Recommended: Leave unchecked. Members will still get an email confirmation from PMPro after checkout.)
I wanted to add to what I mentioned above ….
Here is another good link for controlling access : https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/error-message-upon-initial-activation-but-not-on-brand-new-wp-site?replies=5#post-3798211Hello @fantombe
If im understanding you correct you want to SHOW TEXT that says “You need to be a Gold member to view this content”
If so im not sure if you are aware that when using PMP (paid membership pro) for each PAGE or POST you create there is a check box option on the right side just under CATEGORIES and TAGS its titled ” REQUIRE MEMBERSHIP” if you check those boxes corresponding with who you want to give access to GOLD LEVEL , BRONZE or BOTH LEVELS etc. Then when someone who does not have access to READ THAT PAGE or POST they will see
This content is for GOLD LEVEL and BRONZE LEVEL members only.
asking them to either login or register with a link to do so.
Am I understanding you correct or did I miss something.

The use of the shortcodes are for flexibility so you can PROTECT content on a word by word (case by case basis)Here is the shortcode use info: https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/documentation/content-controls/with-shortcodes/
P.S you may have to register a free account see read the details.
Let me know if this helpedIm just a user of PMP im not affiliated with Jason company Im just helping out where I can, cause I love the plugin . ??
Hello @tumikia
Hopefully I’m understanding you correct. I think this link will help you : https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/documentation/membership-levels/upgrade-or-downgrade-a-users-membership-level/NOTE: you will need to register a free account so read the full details, but as it reads from Jason site (he is the creator of PMP )
====================
Upgrade or Downgrade a User’s Membership LevelThe site administrator can manually update a user’s membership level through the WordPress admin or the member can change their own level through your site.
For the Site AdministratorTo upgrade/downgrade a member follow these steps:
Locate the member within the “Users” page of your admin by doing a search for their name or email address. Once you locate the user, click their name or the edit link to manage their account.
On the edit user screen, you will see a section for “Membership Level” at the bottom of the page. Choose the preferred membership level from the dropdown list.
If you modify a user’s membership level through this method, their recurring payment will be cancelled automatically and they will no longer be billed for membership. To change a user to a paying membership, have them (your site members self serve and do it themselves) click the “change membership level” link under their account page.
=========================Hope this helps
p.s Im not affiliated with Jason and his company im just trying to help those users of the plugin as I am a user of this plugin myself. ??@jenthehumanist Just to let you know Im not affiliate with the development of Jason plugin Paid Membership Pro, I just like helping where I can and mainly with this plugin, Im a user of this plugin and I have a love for wordpress, so I read and help where I can for those using Jasons plugin, I keep up with him on the main dev site. https://github.com/strangerstudios If you register on this site you can follow him and all the updates patches and addon that he comes out with for PMP paid membership pro.
On the other hand looks like the plugin wants to activate its self but the header from the plugin “pmpro-series-master” which is also jasons plugin is activated calling a header as well.
=======
STEP #1. DEACTIVATE pmpro-series-master
STEP #2. DEACTIVATE PMP then Reactivate PMP
STEP #3. if the PMP activates find then…
STEP #4. reactive pmpro-series-master
=========
Lets see what happens.While the PMP is under development I know Jason depends on us to use this plugin and test it and he will work all the bugs out.
Hang in there, and he will reply to your email , just give him some time, since this plugins release , recently the downloads have grown I have watched it, so people are probably backing up his email.
You know you can get in his PRIVATE members only support to thats priority help and extra perk for code help and etc its $97 bucks
https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/pricing/Other than that let me know what happens.
Great ! ??
Any plugin can throw this type: The plugin generated 188 characters of unexpected output during activation.
I know it has nothing to do with PMP directly cause I have installed on an old and new wp install and its fine.
