my I ask what version of PMP do you have installed. 1.5.8 there has been a lot of updates in this latest version? TIP: download it direct from wordpress https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/paid-memberships-pro/
I noticed if you download it from the website of the creator its still the older version.
On your initial installation/activation: is that WP 3.0 or higher?
Do you have latest version of PMP Paid membership Pro downloaded 1.5.8?
Could be a conflict with another plugin you may have activated, test and see if so by deactivating all your plugins and install PMP and see what happens. If you have success just reactivate the other plugins.Thats what I would do if I were troubleshooting this issue. ??
@zonkd I suggest you log in your cpanel and just delete the plugin from
wp-content/plugins/once you delete it from the cpanel, install the latest version of PMP not sure if you are running the latest version 1.5.8
Reactivate the new version if you want to continue to use PMP.
Im sorry to hear you are having these issues, remember PMP is fairly new in the making, and people like us testing and using it, is what makes it better. So the creator can correct these issues. You should try and use this with STRIPE gateway thats the gateway im using and its PERFECT ! not to mention, you know Jason the owner has a paid support and help on his site, i think its like $99 bucks for the year, unlimited help and support and etc. that will give you priority help with issues as you mentioned before if you really want to use the paypal. Im STRIPE all In ! Just wanted to buzz you this. https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/paid-memberships-pro/
I would HIGHLY interested in this update I have the same issue as @oniiru
@andrew (oniiru)
How’s it going, just to let you know I have to same issue you have. I know you been searching all over the internet cause I have as well and my search terms pops up your name EVERYWHERE!
Right now I have to same integration as you PMP with the WP affiliate platform, and only the initial payment is tracking I also need the ability to track recurring commission, with added ability to award commissions to the “original affiliate” who referred the person the first time they joined.
========= WHAT I NEED =====================
JIM REFERS BOB in the month of January, JIM earns $10 aff commission.
When BOB pays his February membership fee, I need JIM (referring aff) to earn again $10 aff commission. As long as BOB is paying his membership fee i need JIM to earn on every payment BOB makes.
===========================================If this what you were looking for as well, I’m willing to work together to get this done.
This is where I hang out cause Jason Coleman the creator of this plugin paid membership pro, always has the updates and latest fixes here I also have an account, you may want to signup for free and follow Jason. https://gist.github.com/strangerstudios
=======
Discovered I dont know if this maybe right or what but a 2 days ago looks like Jason updated some code in the checkout.php process.
I wonder does this have anything to do with the WP affiliate platform code we are using.Okay Im going to read a bit. im going to email you now about getting paid support to get this done, thanks cause I really like you membership plugin
@strangerstudios Im using your Membership plugins with added plugin pmpro-network, which is available on GitHub (https://github.com/strangerstudios/pmpro-network) that shows the basics for allowing users who signs up for a membership at one site to be able to create or reclaim their own site under the multisite setup.
If there a way i can set plugin access to certain levels that I have created.
