Managed to get into site using wp-admin and a refresh of all plugins the issue is that woocommerce has become deactivated as a plugin – as not listed on the plugin page but when i try and add it again it says error plugin exists. I removed the old woocommerce plugin folder (copied and added XX in front) and installed a new one – now works.

All back to normal was a malfunction in upgrade.

any advice welcome please and thanks have logged a ticket with support forum where i bought my theme and will post any results.
