@jimrowebot I’m not sure what you mean by place a ipn in the shortcode but the shortcode should be added only with the supported variables. You can add a ‘custom’ variable to send something like a unique ID to PayPal.

@jimrowebot Mine was an incorrect shortcode variable combination. Check the same. You can also paste your shortcode here so I can check if that’s what’s causing the issue.

I just checked. Encrypted website payments are set to OFF.

It is switched to live mode now.

Thank you. I updated the plugin and it seem to work on sandbox but not on live payments. Live payments still give the same error. Do I need to add a PayPal Merchant ID and should the PayPal email has to be a business account? How to fix this issue? Thanks again!

Thank you. Plugin update doesn’t show up on the dashboard. Wonder if it is due to the WP version? I don’t want to update WP yet for compatibility issues. Would I still be ok to update the plugin manually? I see it only supports WP5.3 and up. I tried the shortcode update but I guess without the plugin update it doesn’t work?

To enable IPN, PayPal asks for the Notification URL. What would that URL be?

Have you tried uploading ALL the files (even ones on root) manually except for wp-config.php and what’s on wp-content?
