Removing the warning sign actually helped. Thanks. Issue is resolved.

It’s a built in plugin that comes with the theme. It gives you the option to add warning signs in your post. Iv’e replaced what needed to be taken away, & replaced with the code you gave me, but when I previewed the changes ,the code showed, as is. I’ve decided not to use the warning button. I also used another warning button for another post. Does removing that one helps my issue?

I have no knowledge of html & coding, so if it’s something I need to add, please give me proper clues on where to re-insert, with examples of before & after something. Thank you!

Out of frustration, I just decided to uninstall & re-install and the “add media” button still does not work. I even installed a new browser to see if it would work there. No such luck. What am I to do with a magazine site with no images? I’ve googled this problem & apparently,there are a lot of folks with this issue. Without a tech saavy guy next to me or on the phone directing me, I will not be able to fix this myself. Thanks for your help. I may have to eventually uninstall wordpress for good & use another program to power my site, unless there is a support center that is willing to walk me though via phone.

would it be beneficial if I just uninstall & delete everything except for my URL & start over from scratch?

I’ve deleted the old wp-includes & wp-admin directories as the instructions suggested, but have no idea how to add the new admins & includes. I’ve tried uploading, but all of this is starting to look like a foreign language to me. This is getting really frustrating

I’m in my FTP file manager, but I don’t see where I need to delete the wp includes & wp admins. I see the files, but how do you delete them? If I just n-install, do I still need to do this?

Once I link my site, what other alternatives can I try? I’ve tried other media plugins, but none seem to allow my photos to post directly on the site. Please, I’m really desperate to get this to work. This is time sensitive. I’ve had no problems until my wp was updated.

How do I link my site? Is there any chance this issue will be resolved by Thanksgiving Thursday or am I going to have to choose a new hosting site?
