Nvm, I fixed it. Updated the wordpress installation on the old server, backed up the database, restored the database on the new server, copied over files, done. Thanks for all the help.. ^_^

I’m really not sure how to proceed, could someone offer some advice?

I could not find fantversion.php, so I copied the file “../.fantasticodata/Wordpress/mydomain.net” and copied it to the new server in the same directery. Then I had the option in fantastic to do an update to v2.0.3. I proceeded to do this, and I got an error.

    Upgrade completed

Your installation of WordPress was upgraded.
You can view it here: https://fewleftstanding.net/fewleftstanding.net/

Please save following information. You will need it in order to restore if something went wrong

If you don’t have SSH access, ask support to help you:
    – Remove the directory /home/solvent/public_html/fls
    – Untar /home/solvent/fantastico_backups/fewleftstanding.net.backup.1155349303.tgz
    – Empty the database solvent_wrdp1
    – Import the file /home/solvent/fantastico_backups/fewleftstanding.net/backup.sql into the database solvent_wrdp1
    – Move /home/solvent/fantastico_backups/fewleftstanding.net to /home/solvent/public_html/fls

I guess I should have waited until I switched my DNS servers, eh? I’m not sure what to do now. I can switch the dns servers at any time (they are just redirects..ie. ns1.mydomain.net goes to the ip of my webhost)..but I was holding off until the site was updated.

The website still works fine on the temporary address, but when I try to goto /wp-admin/, it goes me the error ‘Your database is out-of-date. Please upgrade.’

Should I update the DNS servers, reupload all my files, recreate the database, copy the fantastico data folder, and then try to upgrade again?

(Another thing I want to do..less important though..i suppose it could be done after this problem is fixed..is have wordpress directory not be in the main directory of the website. I.e. the wordpress directory would be located in https://www.fewleftstanding.net/blog instead of https://www.fewleftstanding.net
