The problem there is that if the plugin automatically appends every link within the text of a page with the amp extension it may not always be correct.
E.g An affiliate link to the sellers website may not work if the seller’s website does not have amp implemented on that particular page.
In your case it sounds like the link is to another page on your own site which in that case would be fine, but the plugin has no real way of determining that.
As a result you are getting the mobile page.

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] A note to the developers.Google doesn’t present amp pages in search results and there is no “AMP search.”
What it does is SERVES an amp page to a mobile user if it is available.
I don’t have time to check all of them but you have “Search” enabled in your AMP settings.
You cannot have the search function enabled unless your site is https (SSL).
This is a requirement for AMP and is not a problem from the AMP Plugin.
Go into your settings and disable “Search.”

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] Is structured data for Google Search? It doesn’t “want” the image.
It wants to know what the image is and what the nature of the image is and where to find it and whether or not it could be a part of an image search result.

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] Is structured data for Google Search?Structured data is a way of communicating clearly to search engines as to the exact nature of all of your content. It does not “appear in search.”
It simply allows the search engines to understand more completely what is on a page, what it is about and then it is up to the search engine provider to decide what to do with the page.
OK, I checked about a dozen of your pages including the Home page and you are getting “Passes” all the way.
Yes there are non-critical errors showing up but they are unimportant and are connected to the fact that AMP as a standard is still evolving so stuff gets added and other stuff gets dropped.
I tested your site without AMP in Google Page Test and it does “OK” for mobile and is compliant however it scares very well for the AMP version so that would indicate you should turn on mobile redirection.
Can you post a URL?
ConsiderThis1,
Critical errors are errors detected by Googlebot that indicate that the amp page it crawled has errors which are non-compliant with the amp standard. Those errors would prevent Google from presenting that amp page to a user on Google or not indexing that page at all.
It is very important to note that these errors may in fact NOT be errors at all but may be the result of Googlebot having trouble crawling your page for any of a million technical reasons.
When you see a critical error reported in Webmaster Tools you must submit the URL of the amp page to the AMP Project Validator here: https://validator.ampproject.org/
That will give you a “real time” assessment of the page and all you are looking for is either a “Pass” or “Fail.”
If the page passes that test then just ignore the Webmaster Tools error warning. Eventually Googlebot will get back to the site and most likely delete the error entry.

I just went to your site and the AMP version is working perfectly as far as I can see.

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] NO AMP on Category pagesIf you have nothing in any plugin that could possibly be interfering with the permalinks then it may be worthwhile to go into the .htaccess file and see if there is anything there leftover from earlier.
I am not a developer but my usual approach in situations like this is to disable ALL plugins and see if I can get the one plugin (wp for amp) I am trying to get working to work!
If it still doesn’t work then we know it isn’t a plugin.
If it does work then I start one by one re-enabling plugins to find the conflict.
