mmh? thanks zoonini I took a look at that but I don’t think it will do what I need. It looks like Capability Manager or User Role Editor. I have also looked at both of those plugins. It seems that WP has built in the user edit / add capabilities to the administrator role only. I need to be able to create a new administrator role with different capabilities or somehow add the user edit / add capability to another role without giving them access to other capabilities.

My basic problem is that I want to give some of my admin staff access to managing membership without having access to the rest of WP and plugins etc. I would think this would be a common need for others also. There must be some way to do it.

BTW I currently use Wishlist to manage members.

I need to know how to get the WP username(and other parameters like First Name, Last Name etc.) to pass to begin with. What you showed is helpful for picking it up on the other end but I still don’t know where or how to get the name to begin with and assign it to some parameter. ie. “username” I thought that I could use “get_currentuserinfo()” to get the value/parameter but it does not seem to work for me. So in the hyperlink I would pass a value by something like Username = [get_currentuserinfo()…??]
