Not sure if this help. There are only 4 template option in the post shortcode. None of them is “blog”. If you ave a page called “blog” and want Your posts to show up there, you have to add the post shortoce and choose one of teh 4 templates Your are given as an option, depending on how you want the layout to look.

Hi there.
I know I shouldn’t interupt in another support question, but I am also struggling With the Pictures of the post in the post shortcode list function. I have tested all 4 templates offered by SU, and they work properly and the post picture appears, but in a very small size. The preview shows a square thumbnail, but the output ends With a small rectangular picture when i use the defaul template. Using the teaser template the picture becoms even smaller.
Anyone who knows why this happen?
I use WP Twenty Fourteen as theme. I have changed to theme 2016 and 2017 just to see if the problem is solved, but the problem is still there.

We have the same problem. The album layout looks okay in the editor, but on the website all pictures is listed in a long column one by one, like on this page

One of our users have the same problem. She managed to get the dashboard by clicking edit on a post and take it from there.

The support forum for theme Twenty fourteen seems abandoned. People are asking for help for a long time, but none of the authors bother to answere.

If you mean the front site, I can’t see any smileys there. Have you checked from other browsers? I use Google Chrome.

Have you tried to switch of the search field? It’s the option above where you decide the numbers of events pr day in the month list in the setting, second tab.

I’m not one of the authors of the plugin, but they answer very seldom, so I can tell what I know about this. The field above the search option you decide in the setting, second tab, scroll down and you see you can add picture, text and whatever, and it will appear on top of the calendar.

I’m not skilled in Jetpack, but I use the statistics, so maybe I can help. If you mean the section in the right bottom corner, it shows what links in your post and pages people have clicked on. F.ex. if you have have added a link to another article, an event etc, in one of your posts or pages, and someone click on them, you will find that n the “click” section.

I have switched to Twenty Seventeen and Twenty Sixteen just to check it, and on both those themes the plugin works as it should. So the problem is the connection with the theme Twenty Fourteen, and when you use the “Default page template”.
Any chance for that to be fixed? I know you people have a lot to do, and that I am using a free version, but Twenty Foruteen is one of WP standard theme, so it should be compatible with most plugins.

I have updated my review text with the latest info I have about the problem between Twenty Fourteen and the plugin. I also added a link to the event list so you can see that the featured picture is missing. I can’t give you any link to the blog post since I have dropped the “publish as post” since it doesn’t work, and I can’t keep it there for months till I get an answer. I have also posted about this problem in the support forum, but o response so far, and I think this problem with Twenty Fourteen should be told on the review forum, since people read here before they download the plugin. Those who use Twenty Fourteen should find another one, unless this will be fixed.

If you use the event template, the list will look like this. If you use the page template, it can look different due to your theme.

I dropped the “show up among the blog posts” function, because of the problem. Tried it again now, but the problem now is that all posts shows up twice. And they also shows up all together in a row, not at the date they are published. So I got 10 events in a row, and it drowned my other posts, so I had to deactivate the function again.

I am using the theme Twenty Fourteen, and I is use the page template.
