    Thanks! Seems pretty easy!

    Thank you Moshu.

I think I figured it out. Inside my domain management with Godaddy, I just point each domain to their own folder. I my case I pointed larrinski.org to /tech and made a new folder called tech inside it with all my wordpress install moved there and it worked just fine. I guess to clean up my folders, I could make a folder in root with the name of each domain:

    /larrinski/tech(with wordpress install here)
    /atheist/blog(with wordpress install here)
    /anynewdomain/whatever(with wordpress install here)

It seems to be working. Hope this makes sense and isn’t going to make future problems.

    Cheers!

OK. I got the fowarding to work(sort of). If I type in larrinski.org, it goes right to the site, but I have lost all my WordPress formatting, and my permalinks to my articles are broken. Hopefully an easy fix…

And it was. I added a tech folder inside /tech and that fixes everything…Thanks again…

I have been playing with forwarding with my hosting provider(Godaddy), with no luck.

Atheist.nu is now my main domain(larrinski.org used to be).
In my domain management, I can assign a domain to a hosting site(which I assume is now atheist.nu). I can then assign a domain hosting path(which I assumed was /tech). I did that with no result.
I feel like I am getting in a little over my head with all this stuff…But I really want to make this work, so be patient if I am either not making sense(as some of the terminology is Greek to me), or looking for clarification…

I appreciate the assistance. Godaddy seems to think it is a WordPress problem, but I think so far that it is a hosting problem…

My hosting provider suggests trying domain forwarding. I’ll see how it goes…

Thanks! I am starting to think I need to amend something on my hosting account.

/blog & /tech are on the same hosting. I will call up my hosting company to see if there is a solution there, and report back.

    Cheers!

If I set up in my in my general settings my blog address to be “larrinski.org”, and my wordpress address to be “larrinski.org/tech” it still routes to “atheist.nu/blog” when I enter “larrinski.org” in the address bar. Do I then do something with redirection to have that not happen? If my blog address and wordpress address are both “larrinski.org/tech” then everything seems to work fine, except the main problem with leaving off the /tech.

I see source and target. I assume that source is larrinski.org and target is atheist.nu/tech. I have tried it both ways though, and everytime I type larrinski.org, it automatically goes to /blog…

I hadn’t thought about optimizing my images! Thanks. That would quicken things up. I was posting thumbnails for a while, so people could click to see the full image, but have been trying to just fit them in the allotted space instead, as I thought that they looked better in full size. I will look into the best way to streamline the process.

I have used the default 10 posts per page, but will move down to 5 to see if that helps quicken things up.

    Thanks for the feedback!

Never mind. I took it upon myself to remove the plug-in and the upgrade went without a hitch…Cheers.
