In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Widgets not showing eventsActually, it only worked for the Calendar Grid widget. My Upcoming List of Events doesn’t show an event in January that DOES show up in my calendar grid widget. I’ve got it set for 7 events to show with 0 days ahead as my start date. When the page loads it should show December which has two events, but they don’t show either. If I click back one month, it shows the two December events, which doesn’t make sense. Why would the Upcoming events list load January first?

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Widgets not showing eventsThat worked! When did the shortened calendar ID go into effect?

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Problem with WooThemes Hook ManagerHi Nortont,
I’m having the same problem with this. On every event post, this warning is showing. When I post a link to the event page on Facebook, the first part of the description is this warning. Hopefully, timely is working on a fix.
OK, so my url was slightly re-directed, causing slight loading issues with certain page elements. The host company tech fixed the issue.
OK, so after a little investigating, I’ve found out some more information. If I enter the traditional url to go to the site, slideshow won’t load. If I enter the WP url (with the server number), it loads fine. Sounds like a host server setting that needs to be changed. Anybody have a clue?
I changed the order of my pages under the Pages Menu of the WP Admin. Just click to edit your page, and on the right side, there’s a palette labeled Page Attributes. Change the number under “Order” to whatever position you want the page to be in. Just make sure you change the other pages to reflect that order as well, or it places them in whatever order you added them (I think). Same thing with sub-pages. This is actually a function of WP, not Dropdown Menu. The plugin just reads your WP page settings.
