In reply to: [ActivityPub] Missing replies from MastodonNothing’s changed in the setup, to my knowledge. I’m running Surge, with content negotiation set up, and it’s been working just fine up until I noticed the missing reply. I’ve tried disabling it as well, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference.
Only “change” I can recall recently, is the recent upgrade of the ActivityPub plugin.
No idea what the response to that curl request should look like, so I can’t really add any info.
Additional info: Replies seem to come through just fine on this post: https://mastodon.social/@[email protected]/112673026752773024 — but anything later than that, and it doesn’t seem to work. Whereas it’s not working on posts from yesterday/today.
Edit: Never mind, doesn’t seem like the post age is the culprit. Tested this one https://mastodon.social/@[email protected]/112666271115729274 which is older, and it’s not working there. Not finding a clear pattern between posts it’s working for and posts it isn’t working for.
Another update: WordPress is missing delete comment calls as well. Posted a bunch of test replies via Mastodon now to test. Deleting worked fine for one of the comments, and then it suddenly didn’t for the next ones. Absolutely no idea what’s going here.

In reply to: Site editor: Custom template for specific categoryThanks again bcworkz!
I hear your argument. Still, I’m reading “posts” as the plural of single posts within a category. If it referred to post archives, I would to read that term. Especially since the term “Category Archives” is used in the interface that’s shown on the documentation. It was this mismatch between terms that convinced me that I must be missing something, because I thought the text couldn’t be referring archives templates given the wording.
And thanks for the update on the post formats ??
Anyway, you’ve answered my question thoroughly, and this thread can safely be closed now.

In reply to: Site editor: Custom template for specific categoryThanks bcworkz. I thought post formats had been deprecated by this point!
As for conditionals, I went that way to solve this one in the end. Saved myself having to modify the templates, too, with the help of the Block Logic plugin.
I guess my question is more to do with the documentation here. Am I reading it entirely wrong? Because to me it explicitly states that this should be possible. I don’t understand what needs to be changed in a theme for it support what’s mentioned in the documentation.

In reply to: Site editor: Custom template for specific categoryThanks for the response James.
Maybe I’ll have more luck there. But is this really a theme specific issue? Far as I can tell, this is related to the site editor rather than a specific theme.

I’ll upgrade as soon as you implement this. Be sure to give me a shout when you do ??
Btw, if you need help with a Norwegian translation, I’d be happy to contribute.

In reply to: Is this archive function possible to achieve? Thanks for the help. I assume that this means that I actually have to create a new template for each tag within each of the categories, and that there is no easier of doing it?
To give you an idea of what I’m working with: I have a music blog where I use tags to mark which band the posts are about, and I would like to in the archives not only all posts about that band (tag), but also all posts about that band (tag) in a certain category.
Obviously the proposed solution would be inconvenient, as we are adding new bands (tags) all the time and we need it to be automated.

In reply to: Unknown PHP errors @ bottom of blog…helpIn response to the original topic of this thread, I would just like to say that I experienced the exact same error messages after I changed my server settings to use PHP5 instead of PHP4.
Turned out that the problems was caused by the plugin cforms, but they disappeared when I upgraded to the latest version.

In reply to: LifeStream PluginI am unable to activate the plugin, as it gives me a “fatal error”. Unmodified version of WP 2.6.
Does anyone know a plugin like this that actually works with 2.6? I tried RSS stream as well, it “called to an undefined function”, so no luck there either.

In reply to: Resetting Comments CounterThat really wasn’t too hard. Thanks, I knew there had to be a simple solution, as long as you knew how to do it.
And thanks for the tip, Akismet is working wonders for now, and has filtered out several hundreds of spam comments already. I will look into the SK and Bad Behaviour plugin as well ??

In reply to: – You don’t have permission to do that !!!!Too late to edit, but I’ve found a (weird) solution to this. When I log-in with another browser, I can delete just fine.
Seems to be browser/cookie related, or something.
EDIT: Tried deleting all cookies in FireFox. No luck. Seems I have to do all my deleting in Opera from now on. Which kinda sucks.
