When google search plug in is activated, the meteor slides don’t display. It’s happened with other plugins too, but I just didn’t use them. For this site I need to be able to have both, I customized Meteor quite a bit to make it do what they wanted. It’s a great plugin and I appreciate all your tech support.

It works now—I didn’t see the settings option on the left. In future versions you might want to consider renaming the tab from “Slides” to “Meteor Slides” for those of us dealing with multiple sites with multiple media plugins. (This site alone uses 3, bleh!) It would probably also help those new to WordPress.

I’m having the same problem as JoAnn. In my case I’m setting the link to
https://www.mysite.com/mycategory/ucsd-supercomputer/
but the link defaults to
https://www.mysite.com/slides/ucsd-supercomputer/
I don’t have the redirection plugin installed.

If thickbox isn’t displaying properly make sure you have this code in your footer.php file in the theme you are using:
<?php wp_footer(); ?>
and this should be in the header.php (before </head> )
<?php wp_head(); ?>

You can access those files in dashboard > appearance > editor (the files are on the right)

If slide show isn’t working after you uploaded the imagerotator.swf file with your nextgen plug in, go to gallery > options > slideshow > and set the path to where you uploaded the file (the default is your-site-root-here/wp-content/uploads/imagerotator.swf
