In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Paid AppHi @zainee –
Thanks for your feedback.
Jetpack Stats is still available for free for sites that don’t engage in commercial activities. You can read more about how we determine if a site is commercial at:
If you believe that your site has been incorrectly classified, please start a new support thread and we can take a look.
Since this discussion has moved to GitHub, I am going to mark this thread as resolved.
Hi @mrbeama –
I have made an adjustment on our end that will fix the issue.
You can now add a non-commercial stats plan by going to:
https://wordpress.com/stats/purchase/favershamlife.org
You will be given the opportunity to make a financial contribution, but if you wish to get a free subscription, you can move the pricing slider all the way to the left.
I’m going to mark this thread as resolved now, but if you encounter any issues, feel free to respond here.
Hi @jpalazzo –
When we look at your site’s source code, there is code referring to Google AdSense. It looks like it is coming from the Google Site Kit plugin:
<!-- Metatags do Google AdSense adicionado pelo Site Kit --> <meta name="google-adsense-platform-account" content="ca-host-pub-XXXXXXX"> <meta name="google-adsense-platform-domain" content="sitekit.withgoogle.com"> <!-- Fim das metatags do Google AdSense adicionado pelo Site Kit --> <link rel="preconnect" crossorigin /> <link rel="preload" as="style" /> <link rel="stylesheet" media="all" /> <meta name="redi-version" content="1.2.4" /> <!-- Snippet do Google Adsense adicionado pelo Site Kit --> <script type="text/javascript" async="async" src="https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-XXXXXXX&host=ca-host-pub-XXXXXXX" crossorigin="anonymous"></script> <!-- Finalizar o snippet do Google Adsense adicionado pelo Site Kit -->
In order to obtain a noncommercial Jetpack Stats license, you will need to remove that code. Once the code is removed, you can request a reclassification by following these directions:

Hi @rstar1web –
Looking at your site, I see that you have affiliate links. Sites with affiliate links meet our commercial criteria. You can read more in Jetpack Stats Plan: Free or?Paid.
However, since you are not using Jetpack Stats, you can continue using the free features in Jetpack. You can turn off Jetpack Stats by following these instructions:

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Slowed down my websiteHi @markneutron –
Thanks for your feedback. We wouldn’t generally expect you to see a drop in your site’s speed after installing Jetpack. I am assuming that you are referring to your Google PageSpeed score, correct?
We’d like to investigate this issue if you are willing. Please either create a new support thread or contact us via this contact form:
https://jetpack.com/contact-support/?rel=support&hpi=1
Whether you contact us via the support forums or email, please reference this review and include your site’s URL.
Hi @hsramc –
The solution shared by @leponder is the best way to fix this. If you have FTP/SSH access to your server, you can rename or remove the
/wp-content/plugins/jetpack
folder. You should then be able to access your WP Admin and can reinstall the Jetpack plugin.Alternatively, you can contact your hosting provider’s technical support and ask them to remove the folder for you. You would then need to reinstall Jetpack again.
Let us know once that is done and we can confirm that Jetpack is working on your site.
