In reply to: [Gutenberg] By any measure, Gutenberg was a bad ideaIt’s the direction of the future, kinda like the digital camera was to photography so glad that I embraced both early-on. Thank you WordPress.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Gutenberg is messing up my old Classic Editor pagesTry this; get free localhost from “flywheel” to do all testing/tryout before applying the practices to the live host work. This is what I have been doing since Sept and it works great. I haven’t experienced any of the Gutenberg issues I see here every day.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] UpsetWhy on earth would you as a professional not try all the updates and trial out first–then–do your major deadline project. You can also get free localhost from flywheel to do all testing/tryout before applying the practices to the live host work. This is what I have been doing since Sept and it works great. I haven’t experienced any of the Gutenberg issues I see here every day.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Not for those who publish, you know, WRITINGTry, using Elementor plugin with Layers for Elementor Theme (free versions). Set Post page to full width. Write in Adobe InDesign in full screen/page then save to HTML and copy to dashboard then paste into paragraph block from numerous Gutenberg block plugin styles. Works for me…

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Gutenberg is messing up my old Classic Editor pagesCan you please explain how the “whole website” is wrecked? Maybe someone can help.
Even trying it on the classic editor because it would always do it to me unless I started a new block??? I think it’s inherited in both editors, please let me know if you find a solution. With Gutenberg it’s easier to add a new block though

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Gutenberg WP admin page problemHello Birgit,
I also have an issue with the upgrade to v5.3 in wp-admin I try to view the “all pages” or “All Posts” and am unable-just a blank page not the normal list of pages. But when I deactivate Gutenberg all returns to normal, I have deactivated all relevant Gutenberg plugins as well. So, do you know either by experience or online chatter what might be the cause?
