Complement :

Now in Cloudflare dashboard, I see that “swcfpc_worker” is added in “Workers” section.
Some infos about it :
– Your sub-domain : mysite.workers.dev
– Deployed on swcfpc_worker.mysite.workers.dev
– In Parameters : No variable defined for this worker
– Into the code of the worker, I see it starting with

const DEFAULT_BYPASS_COOKIES = [
    "wp-",
    "wordpress_logged_in_",
    "comment_",
    "woocommerce_",
    "wordpressuser_",
    "wordpresspass_",
    "wordpress_sec_"

So I guess it’s what I need.

I’ve cleared the cache again and tested but it looks that the worker is not active for the moment.

I think I have found the breakpoint. I stopped WP Rocket + Autoptimize and deactivate all settings in WPCSPC that I let enabled.

The chat module is back only when I pass… on Worker mode. So currently, if I activate Worker mode, it cancels all the benefits from the plugin (so it’s like if the plugin was not active regarding to the cache effects). As my chat module is central, I cannot remove it.

So, how to deal with the worker ? I’ve read documentation :

It’s a bit technical to me.

=> Is there an interest for me to use it in addition to WPCSPC (I have simple Pro CF subscription). My goal remains to let all pages completely uncached for logged in users.

Could you lead me in the configuration about the worker please, in order to make it work with the “enabled” option in WPCSPC ?

So I’ve tried :
– Activate ESI button
– Put my shortcode with ttl="604800"

But it made my website incredibly slow, and timeouts in the Admin.

When I removed the shortcode, the site remained very slow. It’s been solved when disabling ESI.

Would you see some incompatibilities of ESI with Cloudflare that I use, or with something else ?

2/ Oh I should have misunderstood how it works. So on a cached page, put [esi shortcode …] will not cache the content of ‘shortcode’ ? If it is that, that’s perfect.

It optimizes Javascript files. There is an exception field where I can declare JS files/scripts to ignore. Do you think that there is something to do here ?

Finally it works !

I found the reason of my problem : There was a conflict with the plugin “WP External Links”. Even activated with no activated module inside, this plugin was creating a conflict. So I completely deactivated it.

But it look it doesn’t work with that code, I tried :

– rel=”nofollow” => no change observed, I see only these attributes/values : class=”hurrytimer-button” and target=”_self”

– rel=’nofollow’ => it broke the page where I put the HurryTimer Countdown shortcode.

The behaviour is very strange. I think it is about a kind of cache on my side (using Chrome).

I’ve tested on Firefox and there is no problem.
