    Hi Marco,

I’m experiencing the same issue, and am wondering when the next update will be?

    Hi Daniel,

Thanks for directing me where to put the line of code at ?? I just wanted to make sure I added it correctly, and in the proper place, so as to not risk the site getting broke by putting it somewhere it shouldn’t have been..

    Best Regards,
    Laura

I’m referencing this documentation…but it doesn’t say exactly where to put the line of code at within the file!

    Hello mbrsolution,

Not sure if it is a theme issue or not, but I’m going to address this over in their forum and see what their opinion is..So, I’m going to go ahead and mark this as resolved for the time being. Thanks for trying to help, it’s much appreciated ??

    Hello mbrsolution,

I already have tested the possibility of plugin conflict (I always do when an issue arises), both before and after changing the email system..The results are the same as mentioned previously:

I just tested the site mentioned in this post, and within the “Webmail” the From sender shows [email protected] and when Outlook receives it the From sender shows Site name [[email protected]].

So, is it safe to say that this is an theme issue, and need to take this up with them?

    Hello mbrsolution,

I thought I was sharing what actually happens when using the contact form and how it works, but now I’m not sure..I just tested the site mentioned in this post, and within the “Webmail” the From sender shows [email protected] and when Outlook receives it the From sender shows Site name [[email protected]]. Which seems to be correct..But when I went and tested my other site, which only uses “Webmail” the From sender shows the username of the person who filled out the form..So which of these is actually correct? The contact form plugin settings are the same on both sites..Could it be a theme issue on the site posted here?

    Hello,

    Okay..

I went ahead and set up the email system on my sever’s “Webmail” and have all the emails forwarded to my Outlook..The header of the email looks the same as it did previously, though I’m DMARC complaint now, YAY!

As I was staring at the results, it dawned on me that I’m using the contact form on the site itself, therefore the email is technically being sent FROM MY site –> going to [email protected], [email protected] ect..Which of course is going through MY site’s email system..Therefore, the From sender username/email address in the header is going to be Site name [[email protected]], and NOT the person’s email address who filled out the form..Their email address is in the body of the message (or it should be anyways), but either way, by hitting the “Reply” button, it will automatically show the person’s email address in the “To” area of the header, so that you can reply back to them.

So, have I fried my brain or is this the way it’s suppose work and therefore there’s actually no issue here?

    Hello mbrsolution,

No, there’s no particular reason I haven’t implemented the same email system other than I’ve been too busy to do so, and probably should just go ahead and do so before more issues arise due to the article you posted above, as many email clients are implementing the DMARC policy..I’ll give it a go later today, and update this thread with the results. Thanks for your advice, I appreciate it ??

    Best Regards,

    Hello mbrsolution,

I already seen this article, and had spent a good portion of my morning in the www.ads-software.com forums to find a solution, but nothing seems to work..I am receiving the emails and not getting an failed delivery error, and I do have another site other than the one posted above, that uses the same plugin, with difference being that the emails are being handled on the server via “Webmail”, and the sender’s username shows in the from address and can see their email address when hovering over it..

    Best Regards,
    Laura
