We haven’t been able to establish what caused the problem but we just know it’s been going down across our sites which all range in the themes, plugins, WordPress versions, etc that they use. It doesn’t seem to matter which reCaptcha they are currently using either. What fixes the problem is deactivating, uninstalling, reinstalling the plugins, recreating the contact forms, and putting them back onto the pages that they used to be on.
When we do this, the workload is copy and pasting the contact forms content into a word doc because uninstalling and reinstalling means we have to start over with all the contact forms.
Which is why I’m trying to see if there is a solution that doesn’t require that workload because we have some websites with hundreds of contact forms.
