Yep, this is what I was experiencing from my website as well. I took down my contact for too. Hopefully there’s a solution for this…

ah ok, heh I had the paged comment editing plugin that was preventing that from happening. I wonder how I can get it included in that plugin.

I already have that plugin installed, but it doesn’t let me do what I want. My 2 main contributors are both set to administrator, but when it comes to editting comments posted in the other author’s posts, it won’t let me do that. I did miss the editting of post part, so that’s taken care of. Now I just need to get it to let me edit comments in the other author’s posts.

anyone else have this problem come up?

I would think you’d just leave that line in your wp-config.php permanently

I had to use phpmyadmin and go into the database. I guess WP converted the < > to the ascii codes. So I simply went into the database and found hwere the description for the author profiles were stored, and changed the ascii code to < >. That solved the problem.

That’s close, but I guess I was mainly referring to the actual main page of my blog where you can see ‘Edit Post’ if you’re logged in. If I’m in the admin panel section, I realized that I actually can edit everyone’s posts. I just wanted to be able to jump in through the front page as well.

Anyone?

nevermind. I had to go into the database to fix it.
