haha yea, i was just wondering if it allowed for ease of navigation for people. I’m currently showing 8 posts on the main page, how likely do you think a new visitor would even scroll down past the first 1 or 2? Or would adding something like a recent post list help?

Just trying to find a happy medium and prevent clutter. I’d have to agree about not liking the monthly archives on the sidebar too.

I’m pretty sure you can still do this with query_post. Try searching with that keyword and see what you can find.

yes, i’m assuming you’re talking about multiple authors. a number of people who can post on your website. Just create new users and give them a high enough user level and you’ll have just that. However, all their posts will show up on the main page unless you do some massive editing. Multiple posters is not equal to multiple blogs.

heh it should be in the wp-includes folder. you sure you’re WP installation is working correctly if it’s not in there?

well, first you’ll have to check to see if the next link is located within a div in your index.php file. after that you can find out if that div class is located in your style sheet. If not, then it’ll just be the default a, a:visited, a:hover sections in your css file.

from what I’ve read on the boards, the %category% option is pretty finicky and doesn’t like to work a lot of times. best option is to try without the %category% tag.

not sure, but I think it could have something to do with you using categories in the permalink structure. try to disable permalinks and see if it works.

That would basically mean you going and looking at the style.css sheets of Rin and of Trident, and editing the Trident style sheet to match that of Rin’s. You’d then also have to take into account the different divs used in trident, and match them up with Rins.

Just some time consuming work that isn’t too hard once you understand how the style sheets work.
