I’m sorry, I got very frustrated by my inability to contact you directly, compounded with the fact this issue seems to have been ongoing for quite some time and there was no indication anywhere of your intent to fix it. I appreciate that this is a free project, and that you are not doing paid work on this, but I do think it’s important for active developers to at least maintain some means of communication so that bugs and/or other feedback can be communicated in a timely fashion, and acknowledged on the dev side.

I will pull the bad review for now, and put up a more positive one once I’ve had a look at the update.

Came here to report the same issue, which also happens with radio buttons (possibly other field types.) Clearly, the developer can’t be bothered to ensure his own plug-in works, but has time for other projects that suit his whims better.
