@danielsteel Do not fret. Have you read this post? https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/ouch-unknown-file-in-wordpress-core-wp-v6-7/#post-18133181
You are not alone. I have two completely unrelated sites doing this after the update. Are you by any chance a Bluehost customer?

In reply to: [Photo Gallery, Images, Slider in Rbs Image Gallery] Security vulnerability?Thank you for looking into this so quickly.
Works like a charm! Thanks so much for all of your help!
Thank you very much. I’m sure all of my pages on that site use their custom blocks, so you are probably correct.
I cannot edit or save.
The editing area is blank and there is a dialog box:The editor has encountered an unexpected error.
Attempt recovery // copy post text // copy error. The only thing that works is copy error.
ADDING: This doesn’t seem to affect pages with no content.

Hello. Sorry, that would help. I’ve just updated to 5.9 and yes, I am using Gutenberg editor. The theme is Ascend by Kadence.
In case anyone is having the same issue, I was able to get this working when I figured out that the problem was that touch areas were being rendered above their actual location on the screen. Everything was off. Click on a button and an area of text 200px above it was being highlighted.
The solution for me was in the css— I changed all of the “fixed” positions to “absolute” for #cookie-law-info-bar, the .cli-modal popup, and the #cookie-law-info-again et voila!

In reply to: Caching CrazinessWell after working on it for another day, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s not me.
I’ve tried nearly everything, multiple times. I tried a few different caching plug-ins to see if I could override whatever caching was going on with no luck. Their phpAdmin tool no longer works, so I am severely handicapped anyway.
There seems to be an (exactly) 30 min cache that I am unable to bypass. I suppose I will try the host again until I get someone who doesn’t tell me…
“ma’am, have you tried calling the Word Press?”
Ack. But I wanted to thank you for your ideas and insight.

In reply to: Caching CrazinessThank you for the reply. I did use WPFastestCache for some time on this site but it was causing its own issues. I will try your suggested pick.
No, I don’t think I’ve ever used JetPack on this particular site but good to know that—I do have clients who use it.
You seem pretty knowledgable on the topic. Is it possible that Earthlink farms out their hosting service to some company who uses a CDN? I should check their Privacy Policy.
iThemes support team told me it’s a legitimate file. I emailed a screenshot. They are so responsive!
Me, too. Looks to me like it’s just picking up a valid text pattern in the backup but I’d like to know for certain.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Fatal error: uncaught errorRunning JetPack on seven different sites, with seven different accounts, got the same error as previously mentioned on only three of them.
These three sites do not share server space or a common host.
Here’s an additional console error on *ONE* of these sites after updating (not sure it’s related):
WebSocket connection to ‘wss://public-api.wordpress.com/pinghub/wpcom/me/newest-note-data’ failed: Error during WebSocket handshake: Unexpected response code: 403

I checked a few of my sites and I believe those are old files, not new ones.
Me too, on 2 of my sites so far. Both sites are hosted on Lunarpages. What about you folks?
