I don’t have any other quiz plug-ins, but I disabled a Contact Form plug-in and that did not fix it. One thing that is odd: I entered the shortcode [HDquiz quiz = “3558”] on the “Text” page of my blog post, but the shortcode [HDquiz quiz = “3558”] appears on the “Visual” page of my blog post. Did I insert the shortcode improperly? Thanks, Lori

Thanks for your response. I just double-checked all my questions under “All Questions” and beside each question, it lists the name of the quiz I created under “Quizzes”.

Hi Esmi, Thanks. I don’t think it’s the theme. I will deactivate my plug-ins and see if this works.

Thanks for your response! It was a free theme I got through WordPress (MyMag). I have made only small changes to the CSS file to change preferences so I assume these errors came with the theme. I guess I will fork out the cash for a paid theme next time. In any event, are there some errors that are more likely to be responsible for the formatting issue in IE? Thanks.

Wow, that was it! I just removed the HTML comment tags and replaced them with the CSS tags and that solved the problem! That’s wonderful! Thank you so much!

Thanks again for your help! I tried adding the following code to the end of my CSS file, but my images still do not appear with borders and the captions are aligned to the left:

}

}

I have no idea what I’ve done wrong. It’s probably something simple.

Hi Peredur,
Thanks for your help. I tried adding the code you suggested to the bottom of my CSS file (with a comment indicating why I was adding it for future reference) and I also removed the changes I had made before in the CSS file. Anyway, it did not work. The odd thing is when I draft a post, the image has a border around it and the caption is centered, just the way I want it. When I publish the post, it reverts back to having no border and the caption is aligned to the left. So I suppose there must be conflicting code somewhere.

Hi,
I’m having problems with the smaller slide show, the one that appears below the main slider panel. There appears to be space for three small articles, but when I added the third article, it moved it down a row leaving a blank space on the first row. Here’s my blog:

Does anyone know how to correct this?
I’m also having trouble with feature articles that appear below the sliders. They do not show thumbnail images. Does anyone know how to get these images to show?
