In reply to: [EWWW Image Optimizer] Last version causes WP media_handle_upload to crashI also had to turn off EWWW. My system gets a 500 Internal Error and the site is down. Turning off all plugins, then turning back on one by one showed EWWW is the problem. It has not been tested with the latest version of WordPress. ??

In reply to: [Donations via PayPal] Can’t update the amount of donationNo luck for me, I guess there must be some system issue or how PayPal is setup or restrictions on our server…who knows, but clearly for me it just isn’t working. Thanks for all of your help though I appreciate it, and will have to look for another solution. thanks again, Laura

In reply to: [Donations via PayPal] Can’t update the amount of donationHi Again –
I tried that (again, it was previously set this way) and cleared cache and still the same problem (except $0 is displayed instead of $25).
When I inspect the code for the $25.00 which is an input field it shows “readonly” as shown below. I have no idea how to change that or what would cause it! Do you have any ideas? When inspecting if I remove the “readonly” code it allows input – although would be nice if it could say “Please input donation amount”…
<input name=”donationAmount” id=”currencyAmount” placeholder=”0.00″ pattern=”[0-9]*” value=”25.00″ class=”amount_number validate” readonly=”readonly” style=”width: 136px;” type=”text”>
Thanks again for any help, this is really peculiar, thx, Laura

In reply to: [Donations via PayPal] Can’t update the amount of donationHi – Yes I had tested long ago that everything worked, no changes since then and then just happened to test again yesterday and found the problem. I have cleared cache, and no cache plugins on the site – tested Firefox and Microsoft Edge. Could it be something about Paypal setup I need to do differently? The link to test (and you don’t have to donate, just see that the value $25 can’t be updated is:

In reply to: [Klasik] Missing "Theme Options" in Child ThemeHi Jason – I had the same problem and wrote to tech support, the solution is to install this plug-in https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/options-framework/
I went back to the documentation for this theme and this was definitely NOT included in the list of recommended plugins. So I also wasted a lot of time and energy on this. But this did solve the problem.
Good luck! Laura

In reply to: [Slideshow Gallery LITE] Slide OrderMilt you are my hero and it is pretty amazing I never tried that, geez, I am usually not that slow. Well it would have been great to know that yesterday, however moving forward – super happy to know about the thumbs!!! Thanks Milt for the info.

In reply to: [Slideshow Gallery LITE] Slide OrderHi – Using Option #2 I can reorder the slides and that works. BUT when I make any update (such as change the description or title) then that slide is now put to FIRST in the gallery overriding my previous sort. Also it would be REALLY helpful if the short showed the thumbnail (because in my case the titles are identical for several slides so I have to guess which one to move). Thanks it is a good plug-in, but working with the slide order is really painful in my case…thx, Laura
