The actual image is 1369 × 800 but is being resized to 1170×500. This did not happen using my localhost not does it happen at all if I use a slider on a normal page.

I also just noticed that there is a space between the header and the rest of the page on my other pages. I don’t have any custom CSS applied that I can tell.

Ah, I have to update on the pages themselves! Sorry!

I was able to do this with the Regenerate Thumbnails plug in. https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

Somehow it magically fixed itself overnight.

Okay, so this DID work… until I updated the theme today. Now the pink image is back, despite re-uploading my new .png image via FTP. Did they maybe change the file name on update?

Thanks! I don’t really want to mess with the permissions or copy the folders, etc because that doesn’t even seem to work for most people. Waiting to hear back from the host.

This is the error code I get if I select the ‘Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders’ option.

Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2014/07. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

I replaced the image via FTP client, then cleared my cache in all browsers. That seemed to be the issue! Thanks ??

I wasn’t referring to mobile browsers, I was referring to different computers and browsers.

The weird part is that I changed the image twice, and on my laptop it’s one image and on my work computer it’s another image, and on another work computer it’s the original pink image. I cleared cache and all browsing history, etc etc on each browser, everything except for saved passwords. This didn’t fix it.

I disabled all plug ins and re-activated them, seemed to fix the issue for me.

Where can I go to just change the LINK of the image in the editor? I think this may solve my issue?
