Hi again – I installed KingComposer – and spent quite a while playing around with it.

However whenever I create a new page it follows the structure/layout predefined by the site (when I apply any sections/elements).

It ends up with a few awkward gaps and spaces and with everything aligned in the middle (as per the lithestore theme).

Also I cannot figure out how I would include featured products if the formatting worked.

As mentioned, the goal is to include a few dynamic elements/banners in the lithestore site. Will keep trying but I’m struggling a bit to make sense of this.

I noticed the a version of Lithestore has been released. Congrats on this!

Just wondering –

Is there a way of checking what has been changed in the new version?
Is it compatible with WooCommerce 3?

Other questions
– are there any plans for slightly different section possibilities in future versions? such as the ability to have blog posts / pages in a panel along the bottom of the page. That could be useful for my site https://www.nzstore.com where I am trying to showcase some brand content, but it might get lost or be hard to find if it is not in a very prominent position. Also, would it ever be possible to have a video background in the homepage??

I know this is all a bit wishful thinking, but I look forward to your thoughts.

Have subsequently figured this out – its not necessary to update the child as it reads directly from the parent so loco does its job! thanks

Hi John, Im trying to change the text in my child theme Lithestore-child, using Loco translate, but running into problems.

Do you have any idea what needs to be done to fix this?

I read a tutorial which suggested I replicate the language directory in the child theme folder, and add the following code to the functions.php of the child:

// Load translation files from your child theme instead of the parent theme
function my_child_theme_locale() {
load_child_theme_textdomain( ‘lithestore’, get_stylesheet_directory() . ‘/languages’ );
}
add_action( ‘after_setup_theme’, ‘my_child_theme_locale’ );

However it didnt work.. would appreciate your suggestions.

Thanks John, there were permissions errors with my WordPress set-up which wouldnt allow me to access this. All Sorted now. Good to know the manual import is an option.

Great job with the theme- Lithestore is my favourite. Will hopefully be able to customize a bit more in the future.

Im having an issue with importing demo data. I’ve installed the “One Click Demo Import” plugin. However I keep getting the message “No Import Files specified” – even though I understand it should auto install from this point.

I’ve installed a WordPress multisite using AWS with Bitnami. Wondering if you’ve heard anything like this before. Thank you,

Thanks for this. I just want to change the Section Header name for the Chinese version of my site to Chinese, not English. For example where it says “Recent Products, I’d like to say “近期产品” instead. Not sure where I would change that in the above?

Just realized that this function is only available with the paid Booster plus upgrade, unless I am mistaken? Any work arounds for a free modification of the existing template output would be appreciated, if known. All I need to do is remove the “billing details” from the email that is generated.
