In reply to: [Event Calendar] Your server has PHP magic_quotes_gpc set to activeI’ve got a virtual server off which I’ve got numerous domains and wordpress sites.
I contacted my host and asked for them to turn magic_quotes_gpc because I installed Ajax calendar on one site.
They turned it off and next I knew I lost access to ALL My WordPress Sites!!!!
Couldn’t access the administrator areas or the sites themselves. Of course my regular sites were fine, but WordPress? Zip, Nada!
I then asked them to turn it back on and Voila, my WP sites were back up within minutes. Of course I’d already gone in and deleted the plugin folder. LOL.
Soooo, all I can say is proceed with caution.

In reply to: How to backup posts/pages so's to begin anew?Well, decided to just reinstall WordPress 3.6 and that appears to have fixed the problem…whatever it may have been.

In reply to: [WordPress Backup to Dropbox] Back up not workingI too have yet to see the plugin do a single thing.
I myself DO see the DropBox tab on the side and I also see all the other settings such as
Next Scheduled
History
Settings
Excluded Files and DirectoriesBut I get no where.
btw, I’ve had the plugin for almost two weeks now.

In reply to: [Graphene] Title and Description not the same on certain pagesThanks for responding.
It was pretty old:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/header-text-3Mind you I DID have it working the way I wanted to last week but between changing so many items and adding in a new menu I managed to muck things up somewhere. I save a copy of the style.css as it looks prior to any edits so I put it back to how it was previously.
Graphene and WordPress are up to date.
I tried what you suggested (and yup, had totally forgotten all about my child-theme.)
Interestingly, by changing them to
.header_title and #header h2I get no difference.
So I set it back to what I’d had originally so’s you could see what I mean’t.

Notice how the title and description appear on the homepage as opposed to an individual Post Page.

In reply to: [Redirection] Warning missing argument 2…Well on my second blog I’m running 3.4.2
The page for that item of which I speak features the following:
Basic Settings
Master Override Options
Plugin Clean UpAs for my blog on 3.5 ?
Yes, it appeared there too and that how I initially created the settings. Then afterwards it disappeared. If things work out for you then as I’d mentioned, maybe that main page isn’t a big deal?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Redirection] Warning missing argument 2…When I first installed it, that item showed up but then later disappeared.
‘am still able to see it on another blog of mine which is a version of WordPress just prior to 3.5Maybe it’s no biggie. ?

In reply to: [Redirection] Warning missing argument 2…shmox,
Thanks! Tried that and sure enough it got rid of the error!
Unfortunately my main ‘Redirect Options’ tab on the side is still missing but heck, at least the error’s no longer there.
May I ask shmox if you still see the ‘Redirect Options’ tab on the side?
For anyone curious, it’s the one which brings up the “Quick Page Post Redirect Options & Settings” page.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Redirection] Warning missing argument 2…Same thing here. But I wonder.
Have you folks seen (on your Dashboard’s side panel)
‘Redirect Options’ tab on the side disappear as well?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: After the update to 3.5….problemsApologies to Kaiberie. Never meant to ‘intrude’ I thought my post was relevant.

In reply to: After the update to 3.5….problemsInteresting, why would you delete my post when it was just as valid as the many other posts you’ll be reading today regarding the screwy update?

In reply to: unable to insert images in WP Version 3.5Have to say, after the upgrade inserting images has become a nightmare.
Can’t close out of the insert image dialog…end up having to reload the entire page just to try again and end up in the same headache.
‘and how does one insert image from URL? I see where to click, but after that? Nothing.
NOTE TO SELF: Next time there’s an update available…wait two weeks then wait another three.
