PS: I thought about creating another “Home” page that would contain the other slideshow. So I would have two versions of a static home page.

Thanks, Brandon! We decided to remove the sharing bar completely from the main Blog post list page. Doesn’t make sense to have it there, anyways, and it will clean up the look.

Thank you for looking into this, Srijith. When I turned Jetpack on again, I got the same display issue. But, Jetpack was slowing my client’s site down something fierce, so I gave him a choice – this plugin or JP. He’s keeping AddThis ??

FYI:The theme is Atahalhuapa (sp?).

Whoa….I think I found it. I turned off Jetpack, and the issue resolved. So it must be a conflict? But if you could still make some sense of the code I posted above, I’d appreciate it.

Nope, I haven’t been able to figure out what’s going on.

I’ll give that a try. I think I did have the weight set at 0 at one time, but I’ll go back and set it to 0 and see of that fixes things. Thanks for your suggestion1

I’d love to get this working, as it will make a huge difference on whether or not I will purchase or recommend this plugin (as a developer) to my client. I heard this was the best eCommerce plugin out there. I hate to go to another solution, as I have quite a few products entered (and more to go), but I need to get this working very soon. My client has already been getting emails from would-be customers who state they can’t check out (I am currently in PayPal’s Sandbox).

I entered a default weight because the description under that textbox indicated that without a weight, the shipping cost will be $0. I’ve entered a default shipping cost, and also custom shipping costs for other items. When I test, my shopping cart shows $0.00 for shipping, no matter which product I add.

Here’s a sample of the shortcode I’m using:

Dowitcher[add_to_cart item="dowitcher" style="padding: 5px; float: right;"
showprice="yes"]

Never mind. It doesn’t appear to support heirarchail taxonomies. I uninstalled the plugin and created a custom archive template.

The same thing is happening on my Site Map. I set it up as a post, created a special category called “Site Map” so that it would show up in the “Pool”, and selected it for exclusion.
“Cross-relate posts and pages” is also deselected.

Related Posts is still showing up on my Site Map page, though. Any other hints?

OK…it was an improperly commented function call in my Thesis custom_functions.php file…sheesh.

So add one more thing to the list of possible fixes for the white screen of death.

OH…that is just plain WIERD!!!! It worked.
What i DON’T understand is why it all of a sudden went weird on me. I’ve been using Thesis 1.7 from the beginning with no problems…now all of a sudden this happens.
I’ll have to poke around in Thesis’s custom_functions.php and see if there’s anything wonky there.

Sorry it took so long to replay…I’ve been swamped all day.
I tried the slideshow widget in the 2010 theme sidebar and it’s working. The shortcode in the sidebar works as well. SO…as you said, this is probably an issue with the Builder theme . I really like MeteorSlides…the Rotating images plugin that comes as part of Builder is pretty lame. Would there be a way to code this into Builder’s theme files?
