I received 2 test emails before the registration form quit working. This particular topic is resolved.
How do you suggest I alter that js in order to correct the problem?
I don’t seem to have any mail-related plugins. Where would I find WordPress’s “default wp_mail() function” so I can check its settings? If it’s there by default, it must be in my file folders.
Or should I install WP Mail SMTP by WPForms?? I have uninstalled all WPForms I was using because they all kept wanting an upgrade. But I’ll get this one if it’s necessary.
Thank you!
Thanks for the suggestion. I did add the code and it seems to have worked, once I deleted all cache. I will mark this one as resolved!
You can see an example of the missing “heart” in a test Comment on this page of my site now at this link: https://crystalcovehoa.net/cchoa-blog. As you can see, the count of posts (1) is there and shows in red, and to the left of the count if you place your mouse there, you’ll find a spot where the heart should be. If you check, the count changes. But the heart is invisible. Some setting is wrong, but I can’t figure out what it is. Thank you for any help.
I agree with @fraskeke that you have to pay to get anything other than very basic features. There is no way to nake the login form look like the registration form, for example, and I can find no way to redirect the login form at all. Please help me with that if it is possible. I’ve asked for help with it, but gotten none. I see it offered as a paid feature, but I don’t see it in the list of free ones. Nor can I find anywhere to set it in the Dashboard. If it’s there, it’s not very accessible. I am not using UM, so that’s not a way to do it, if I could.
Also, I only received 1 email on a test registration, but I have others checked. In addition, I do NOT want users to receive an email to verify their registration by having to click another link, but that’s always “on.” They’re going to receive an email from Admin anyway, so why not make the verification email optional like every other choice?
These are reasons I give the plugin only 2 stars. I would give 1, but it almost serves my purpose otherwise. I would like to use it if the login redirect were solved.

In reply to: [Clean Login] registration capability not displaying – urgentyes, I did activate that checkbox. Was that correct or not?
I mistyped the message above. It was not an “iMessage“ that pops up. It was simply a message that pops up. Does that make a difference?

In reply to: [Clean Login] registration capability not displaying – urgentyes I allow people to register. That’s the whole reason I am posting. I want them to register so they can login. The members of my group have to register in order to be members and to be able to login. Unfortunately, when you first see the login page iMessage pops up that says registration is not available for the site but I have no idea why that message shows. It does go away.
is this a setting in WordPress mark

I apologize for the great delay in my reply. For some reason, your response went to an email address I never check.
I have since discovered that the icon is hidden, not missing. If I mouse over the area, it is there but not visible. Also, the count shows up.
Where is the great support I read about? Not a peep from anyone on my questions.
