Sorry for the delay. I didn’t get sent a notification email at the time of your post, so I only saw this bay chance today.

I’ve had a look through the codebase, and tested on a new installation, and was unable to replicate the issue.

However, the behaviour you’re describing seems consistent with having short-tags disabled in your php.ini while using php < 5.4. Short tags are always enabled in php5.4 and later, and I suggest upgrading if you can.

Let me know if your PHP version is >= 5.4, and if so I’ll have to dig deeper for a fix

Thanks for the great feedback. There are some issues that I will fix as soon as I can (such as the admin/editor field not sticking), and WordPress’s default list of allowed mimetypes being ignored, and I will fix these soon.

Anyway, I’m a bit confused; The URL you posted works for me. Are you possibly referring to the bug-tracker or the code repository?

I think you’re right. Both use cases are useful, but the language is unclear.

What would you say to adding an option like so:

?Allow all standard WordPress filetypes

If you think that would work I’ll take a look at adding that as an option.
