@tuttopia, Tom,
Probably not related but I did experience an “interaction” with Simple CSS and the Pastacode plugin. I couldn’t figure out for the life of me why the syntax highlighting in the Simple CSS editor “all of a sudden” was a way different color scheme than it had been (default one). Turns out both Simple CSS and Pastacode use the same product: codemirror and Simple CSS was picking up the style from the Pastacode’s codemirror CSS. Changed the Pastacode display setting and all was back to normal.
Long story short, could be something along this line is happening.Cheers!

In reply to: Changed Settings url: Can’t get back to admin or site@dougcoe –
Access your local database via phpMyAdmin and edit the siteurl and home fields in the wp_options table to what they were before, including the https://
Once you do that, you should be able to log back in. Once there, I would suggest you move your local site to live by using the All In One WP Migration plugin available on the WP Plugin repository:

Watch the video on this page to see how easy it is to use ??
Cheers!

In reply to: [Elementor Website Builder - More than Just a Page Builder] Global CSS@bernardberry646 – I use the Simple CSS plugin for all of my sites ?? It’s from the same fellow, Tom Usborne, who makes the GeneratePress theme:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/simple-css/
One of the nice things about Simple CSS is that it adds a meta box to each page and post where you can enter CSS that will affect only that page or post.
And yes, I too second your request for a place to enter an ID in the Elementor widgets in addition to the Class.
Cheers!
Lyle@futtta, @arielk-1, @blindpet –
Just a quick note to say thank you all for this thread and work ?? I have just rebuilt a Gen + DWB + BB site with GP + EL and I have to say that I am very impressed with the work that has been done with EL and AO.
Here are the GTmetrix numbers before AO:
87/62/6.4/633/80
And after activating AO on this GP + EL site:
94/72/2.3/575/29
WOW! Nothing wrong with that and there are more tweaks to be made ??
Keep up the awesome work!
Cheers!
LyleBTW, the site is snifflevalve.com

@dasigna – Thanks for bringing this to Elementor’s attention! ?? I would have never even thought about that. Just tried it and yikes, there it is, some of my draft content that I sometimes save as a template in case I want to use is again after I edit it ?? I’ll keep search disabled until and update.
Cheers!
LyleThis is what I use on a number of sites to do just that ??

Lyle@blindpet – I am very interested in what their reply to your other observations will be but for the font inheritance matter, this should do it:
Dashboard > Elementor > Settings > Disable Color Palettes and Disable Default Fonts > tick these two and Save Changes ?? IMHO, these should be ticked by default.
Cheers!

@deepinthegame – it’s difficult to tell from that screenshot. Could you post one of the complete window or better yet, a URL so we can take a look?
I just tried this with the set up you mention and there is no top or bottom white areas when the Section height is set to Fit to Screen and the page template is set to Full Width Page.
Cheers!
Lyle@walidmahade – And I should have picked up on that too! LOL ??
I am using GeneratePress and also Genesis + Dynamik Website Builder.
Thanks for the link ??
Cheers!
LyleActually, the name of the supported theme is HEADWAY ??
@walidmahade – well, I don’t know what to say, other than what you have there is not what I have available in my latest version of Elementor, 0.10.3 ??
@soccernatic3 – that is strange as I am unable to duplicate this. Have you tried selecting the other alignments and then center again? Not sure what else to suggest.
Cheers!
Lyle@walidmahade – I will have to disagree, that is not the Elementor Image Gallery widget on that page. According to the View Source of that page, there is the Gallery Bank Pro plugin at work ??
@reca26 – thanks for the explanation, but that is not a “lightbox”, it is merely opening the image.
With a true lightbox, the image would open in a pop-up modal window as an overlay on the page ??
@walidmahade – the method you described for the lightbox in the Elementor image gallery does not work on both of my two test sites. From what I have seen while using it for a while now, there is no lightbox functionality in any of the image display widgets; image, image box, image gallery. That is why I am curious as to how you got it to work for your and also how @reca26 got it to work ??
