@jcbuenoo – The theme that I use all the time that works very well with Elementor is the free GeneratePress theme available here in the WP Theme repo:

There are also very reasonably priced add-ons as well as a package of all of the add-ons.
Cheers!
LyleActually, Lifter LMS will let you sell or sell access to the individual videos from Vimeo Pro. I haven’t used VP for a while, but from what I recall, one embeds the single video in a page/post/lesson and that is the only one they have access to.
I also have LearnDash and have found Lifter to be more flexible and easier to use, especially when it comes time to monetizing the lessons/courses.

You may also want to have a look at this plugin, as it is what I am using to do the same thing that you want to do ??

In reply to: Using MAMP to unhack my site.… to get all that data (post, pages & images).
Of the three you listed, only the images are in the files you zipped. The other two, along with settings and other information, is all stored in and retrieved from the database. You absolutely require an export of your database to deploy on MAMP. And as Sakar has noted, a good idea to not be connected to the net if your live site has been compromised.

In reply to: Why is my site not working after renamig the folder?@jklyn –
Generally it is not a good idea to go renaming the folder ?? Going by your URL, I am taking it that you are using a local server, and as you use www, I am guessing that it is WAMP server or Uniform Server.
If you have the front page displaying and you have changed the two URLs in the wp_options table, you should be able to log into the dashboard. If so, install and run this plugin to update the rest of the URLS/links and also any of these that are stored in the DB as serialized strings (which many are):

Once you do that, then you have to go to Settings > Permalinks and just click Save Changes; this rebuilds the .htaccess file.

LyleI totally agree, and as stated in my last post, they have a ways to go before reaching “Prime Time” ??
I have briefly looked at SO and it does look solid and has been around for a while. I truly hope EM will be the same …. and soon! ??
If you want to discuss the issue further, please do not hesitate to contact me via the contact form on the site that is my Participant name ??

Wow, that is SO not good ?? I really do not know at this point what one could do to salvage the situation short of restoring a backup.
That said, one does have to realize that his plugin is not even at a “1.0” release, as are pretty much all of their competitors, so one has to take that into mind when building a production site with it.
I have personally rebuilt a couple now with it but then again, they were “from scratch” so I could control all aspects of the creation. And, I have backups of the originals ??

You know, if you check out the site that shows as my Participant here, you will see that I am going to be offering tutorials on a few WP products, including Elementor.
However, I keep a close eye on this support forum for “hiccups” and also my own trials and I have to unfortunately say that I do not believe that Elementor is ready for “Prime Time” as of this version.
It has TREMENDOUS potential, but they HAVE to get the basics sorted first, BEFORE adding new features. As you mentioned in your initial post, one of the FIRST things they HAVE to do is add the ability to add a Section from the Elements menu and get rid of the Sections from the Column/Sections areas. These HAVE to be separate, a la Beaver Builder!

Hmm, that is no good ?? I tried this on a local test site and it worked.
How about using the built in WP Revisions to revert to a previously saved version; you may have to select the option in Screen Options when in the Page Editor for this to be available.
That is so unfortunate and I have never experienced this in rebuilding a couple sites with Elementor.
One thing you may try, seeing as how it seems to be lost now anyway, is go back to the WP page editor version. Go to Pages, open the page with Edit and then click the Back to WordPress Editor button. Make sure to select the Text tab (not the Visual one), make sure there is something there then click Update. Go back in and then try Edit with Elementor again.
However, I may suggest that instead of using SO that you try out Beaver Builder, even the free, lite version available in the WP plugin repository.

Any update on this? I have all of the Lifter LMS post types selected in the Elementor settings yet it still does not display all the content on the pages as it should.
As this site is for tutorials that include Elementor, it would certainly be nice (and appropriate) to use it to create the content ??

Perhaps give it while longer to load. I have noticed, even on my local server on a very fast Win 10 system with lots of RAM, that it can take up to 15 to 20 seconds to load one of the pre-designed templates. I just timed it and it was 16.5 seconds to load the Restaurant template into a new page.
I was noticing this behavior as well. I don’t believe it is possible to do with the current version. In BB, you have the option to replace or append when inserting a template from the template library. However, there is a way around that. Create a new page, add the template then save it as a saved layout. Then you can add it anywhere you like in any other page via the Saved Layout menu.
This is something I believe the Elementor team needs to look into adding.
Cheers!
