I just ran into this as well.

Having a similar problem. Paragraph text is rendering in the correct color, but one of my blog authors put some information in tables and all the text in the tables is rendering white on white. The tables in the content area are inheriting styles from a wrapping table in the email structure.

Digging in the styles in developers tools reveals:

PS: this is a multisite install and WordPress 5.5.1 (which I know the plugin isn’t tested for yet. I’m submitting this as something to look for on your next update.

I figured it out. I simply needed to set the URLs in Settings > General to HTTPS. Thanks.

A few months late to the party here, but since these labels are set through css, it would be preferable to override with your own CSS rather than modify the file included in the plugin.

I’ve found a resolution to this problem. I have another site running All-In-One calendar, not having this problem. I thought I had 1.9.5 on both sites, but it turns out that the site working correctly is running 1.9.4.
I downgraded from 1.9.5 to 1.9.4. I also had to make edits to some of my events and refresh a calendar feed. The calendar appears to be functioning correctly now.

Having the same issue.
I have the calendar on 2 different sites (Same plugin (1.9.5 standard) and wordpress (3.5.1) versions on both sites). One is having this problem, the other is not.
I think it may be a server setting issue, but I’m not sure what.
