I decided to uninstall this plugin until this is solved

I have the same issue.. many blocked referrers, while there are many legitimate referrers linking to my site.. just normal websites.
I am not sure on what criteria this plugin is blocking things..

This being said, I’m not sure if it’s a good idea to have different post with the same url on the same site, that’s against best SEO and UX practices, so I wouldn’t recommend it

Just to be sure, the content of each post is different, but some feed posts are published by the same author, so the link to his/her (external) blog is the same. Is this what you mean by ‘the same url on the same site’? Can I prevent this by using a no follow tag to these external links?

Well.. hard to understand this is not a security issue.. it should not be possible for anyone to find out the usernames of your site so easily by only adjusting the number of the author.. why not this URL: ?author=username

Thank you, so having exactly the same diplay name, nickname and username, is not considered a security issue also?

That’s weird. If I change the sitemap name to sitemap.xmldaf or sitemap.xml.da or anything else I put behind .xml, my sitemap shows up.. That’s why I thought my compressed sitemap was still there…

Do you know why this is happening?

I have the same problem, but there is nothing you can do about it, because this is external content. It’s not blocked by you, but by Twitter itself in their robots.txt

I have a RSS feed on my site with posts with different content but with the same URL, so a second post with the same URL is not being imported. Am I right?

If that’s the way it works, would it be possible to plan a workaround?

The compressed sitemap was dynamically generated, so it’s not on my ftp server, but I can access the sitemap by typing the url in the address bar…

I disabled “Create Compressed Sitemap”. I thought this would do the trick, but unfortunately not.

It should state as a standard feature: import full post if your feed is not truncated.. at least for me that was not clear

Follow these steps to exclude them from your Google Analytics statistics:

– In your Google Analytics, go to the Admin tab.
– Under the View Column select Filters GA filters
– Select New Filter GA New filter
– Put Buttons Referral Spam as a name for the Filter.
– Select Filter Type Custom. In Filter Field, find and select Campaign Source. In the Filter Pattern text box, copy and paste the next expression
