I am having the same problem. Even if I FTP to the folder where my old images are, my wp-admin still doesn’t show the image, only a red x. I’m wondering what has changed because I used to be able to upload images with no problem. I tried to change the URL of the red x image in wp-admin, but it won’t let me edit.
