Problem solved…

… if you read this… search through all your <div> tags and you will find there is an open one.. it was actually the break between the custom welcome text widget and the sidebar.

Just looking in to this more and the sidebar is only sunk to the bottom when using IE and Safari browser,

Thanks Gabe, problem solved. Placed the code in the child theme CSS and then played with the settings until I stumbled across the align-centre for the whole widget box.

All sorted.

Hey mc-gabe, I have copied the code above into my CSS child theme file yet I can not see the required changes?? Any suggesitons??

Where am I going wrong? I use firefox firebug… this changes to how I want it to look on screen, then I copy the rule declaration paste it into my Child theme css yet nothing happens??

Arh that seems very very similar to mine… Ill have a read through and see if there is anything that I can change remove etc.

I did initially build the site using twenty ten and did used to use text widgets. I was hacked in August/Sept 2012 but it was just a redirection of the main page. I followed the wordpress codex suggestions and moved on to buy a theme as I felt this would be more secure.

It is interesting how the domain redirects as twenty eleven and not at the main theme I am using??

Ill keep people posted on how it goes as this may be helpful to others if this is the problem

It must be a hacker..

I have activated twenty eleven and the main domain url redirects to a spanish website. Yet when I then re-activate the theme and child theme I am using it works normally (with the random code still there)

Also the random code is still there on all the other pages with twenty eleven as it was before.

Ill contact my host and inform them of this.

Any suggestions on what to do or how to identify it to clean the site code??

Changed to UFT-8 and the random symbols on one page has changed but the main pages are still showing this random code.

There is perhaps a clue or a hint in the fact of the random code (+ADw-h2+AD4-) happens around < symbols in the html or text view?? or the > symbols. Also the radmon code is not consistant it is different every time.

Is this a code issue or a hacker??

I have deleted the wordpress file monitor plugin like you say its way out of date. How do you detect a nefarious plugin?

I have found what I believe to be a database back up file its a .sql.gz file

I have a back up of themes and uploads wp-content. I will look for the xml I am sure I have one.

Shadez done all this and more, reinstalled all core files just need to upload my content. Still worried the content will have scripts or shell scripts in there.

How would you go about reinstalling this content?

Im using Filezilla… tried to set it as sftp but not sure if that was the way in which I was uploading may have been. Ill install avast then and see where that gets me…

The code on line 2 was correct also so when I changed my code to reflect the above post it has worked fully and completely…
