What I meant is at Paypal we can creat payment, donation, subscription buttons etc. Well, there are special “payment links” created when you create these buttons.

In other words, these aren’t generic pay what you want things, these are specific links with specific features/settings to them.

So, what I’m asking is if you can add the ability for us to “replace” the generic link whatever you use for your payment form, with “out own” link (or link code?) so the payment form can go to the payment page we designate.

Should be pretty easy thing to add? Watchya think?

I would like the Events Manager to work like it does, but to have the ability when you create an event it also “posts” as a normal posting update to the actual site itself, such as the blog, shows in the recent posted listing, etc.

Basically, it’s a site update notification.
What “Quick Event Manager” does is display’s the sites Category’s when you create an event, and you can select those category’s also for the Event post to also be displayed in. Should be an easy thing to add.

That’s fine…. It’s a post, wouldn’t expect it to display according to event date.

Because to me I seem to have what is required if I found two plugins that WILL display events in “recent” type postings, such as ones blog, recent widget, etc.

Also, after trying about 30 event/calendar plugins I finally found one that has the feature (though has a bug) and one that sort of does it, but not quite. “Quick Event Manager” and “Eventify”.

Basically what it looks like the first one does is in the Event creation page, it shows the “site Category’s” and you can select them, and then it will show in whatever you’ve selected, in the recent listings, etc. Though the bug is it’s only showing in “category” sections, it won’t show in pages like in the recent listing.

The second which really isn’t practical allows you to select your slug, and then it will actually display in that section of the site. Though, you would have to post the envent several times if you want it to show in more than one place.

Anyway, look forward to having your update, much appreciated.

So, I tested the plugin with no other plugins on a fresh wordpress install with a default theme, and the issue also occurs there.

You’ll see I added an event and it doesn’t show in the “recent” listing no matter the page one is on. But it DOES show in the recent list if you go into the Category (Uncategorized).

Yes, what I mean is I would like for when you create an event, you have access to the Category’s of a site, and so you select what category’s you want, and then events will show in those category’s, such as the sites “Blog”, it’s “Latest News listings, “Recent Posts” etc.

In other words, WordPress “lists” all posts in a recent listing or blog, etc…. I would like events to also be listed. To me it makes sense I don’t know for the life of me why almost ZERO Event plugins have this ability.

Yes, the second…. Would like events to also post to blog, which I don’t know why most/any of these event calendars don’t do this already? Cause you know, recent news/happenings etc. is where one looks most of what’s latest happening, i.e. the blog etc.

I’ve discovered Yoast WordPress SEO…. seems to cause issues like this (has done it 3 different times with 3 different things and problems for me).
Deactivating Yoast, logging out, browsering around site, logging back in and re-activating seems to fix the issue.

Don’t know if that helps, but it’s an FYI….

Well, not sure what’s causing it, but certain themes, I believe “newer” properly designed themes actually align them correctly.

Nevermind…. Shadowbox JS is working properly. ??
