  • Uh…. This is NOT actually a “solution” you know???

How bout an actual solution in which we can still use the plugin?
Me, I would need all the “extra” stuff.
Further, I noticed not everything is included, such as the permalink?

UPDATE…. Might be a slight bug, maybe particular browser related. I’m using Maxthon 3.

The bug is what I described above, but I discovered that by “clicking” on one of the options on the right side (the Publish section for example), the Permalink will pop up.

Anyway, FYI. ?? Thanks for the nice plugin. ??

Hey everyone…. I think I’ve discovered the problem of why “some” theme won’t auto-interpret the video link.

In Admin/settings/media/ you need to set the “WIDTH” of the video.
For some reason only the “height” has info in it, but not the width. When I did that, I just posted the link in the visual editor, and it auto-interpreted the link and posted the video like it’s supposed to.

Anyway, a possible fix for those using 3.2.1 and maybe otherwise.

Yes, it’s confirmed the problem is STILL occuring….

I’ve been installing WordPress on different websites and trying different themes, and only I think around the first theme I tried did the post link and it would auto-convert to a video work.

All other themes I’ve used, it only posts a link. No matter what I do, can’t get it to show a video.
However, did just try the [embed] code, and it DID show the video in one I’m using now. (now to try and figure a way for it to post on the homepage also) ??

What bull crap. After all this time, you would think they would be able to keep a simple function as the must have video posting ability. What use are these CMS’s really??? One has to be tech geeks to use the dange things! Might as well go back to HTML templates…. It’s just as complicated. ??

Okay… I figured out why the Portfolia links weren’t working.
I had changed my “Permalinks” so my content would work better for SEO.
Apparently it interferred with the Portfolia’s permalink structure.

So, while this isn’t a huge issue, it’s certainly not preferrable for a Corporate style theme to not be able to use the permalink function.

Of course, maybe there is a specific “way” it needs to be used, but without instructions, who know’s what that is?

Could you contact me through IM? “leeuniverse” using basically any service. I use Trillian.

    Hi there….

Your page looks correct, footer etc. The only thing I noticed is that when one of the images cycles through, there is an error occuring, and I guess it doesn’t load. Sorry, can’t tell you what is causing that. I can only guess check your settings.

But, could you maybe help me…? How did you get the “Portfolio” to work correctly. When I click the links in the menu it goes to a 404 Error page. I’ve looked everywhere as to how to fix it and make it work. It’s as if the Portfolio category doesn’t exist.

Also, when you Imported the XML file, did you get like 7 “failed” uploads notice?
If not, did you do something special before hand to prevent that?
Are there even any “instructions” anywhere. Like you said, there is almost know-where to contact the author.

Do you remember what things you did during install?

    Thanks

Maybe it’s a specific problem related to the Adobe PDF version? I have one of the latest. Can you check your site? Thanks

Just an FYI…. It’s occuring on YOUR OWN web pages. There is no error message, it simply doesn’t show images in the PDF’s. Have tried different pages, etc.

Hey…. I just checked the WordPress files both offline and online and I don’t have that 328.php in my folder?

Is that the actual “hack” file someone put in there, or is that the file that they got in through?

    Using 3.2.1
