I just disabled my plug-ins and reactivated all of them and GADWP seems to be working. I think your last comment was right; about the older version.

I found this code:

I had an new user register, the verification has failed to a page 404, but the new user isn’t listed in my user listing; I can’t find it, I can’t change anything on it. And I can’t delete it to retry.

How do I delete this unverified new user if I can’t find it?

OK— tried it. Same issue. As soon as I hit the update button the anchors are gone.

Before I update, I can see where WordPress has added it to the code, but as the update button is pushed, it just disappears.

I seem to have to use DIV’s if this is going to work correctly.
