In reply to: How do I suppress the tag line under the titleYou’re welcome. BtW, if you did get your problem solved, you should mark this thread as resolved, so that people in the future, who are searching for this same issue, can look to it for a resolution.

In reply to: How do I suppress the tag line under the title^^^Good advice, always back up, not just the export file that you get (but I would backup that too), but backup the whole directory as well.^^^

In reply to: From WordPress.com to www.ads-software.comMmmm…this might not work, but try to delete the folder, make sure all of your file permissions are correct (everything in the /wordpress directory must be owned by apache, or whoever is running your webserver), and try to import it again.

In reply to: My book blogWow, long post, but I agree with you there, the website is a bit cluttered.

In reply to: How do I suppress the tag line under the titleMmm…I wonder if you were properly logged out when you saw that line. If it makes you feel better, I see the line, and the only thing I see is the category you put it in (uncategorised), and the comment count ( 0 comments), I do not see an edit button. If I was logged in, and had editing access, I probably would see a similar button.
If you go to my website: https://leifandersen.net , you will probably see the same thing (just click on any post). I see the edit button because I’m logged in, but when I’m not logged in, I don’t see said button.
If you still need the whole line removed (although I would recommend keeping it there), you could potentially go to the theme owners webpage, which I believe is: https://www.blogohblog.com/wordpress-theme-limau-orange/ , and ask him where he put that line in there.

In reply to: How do I suppress the tag line under the titleI honestly have no idea, I need to know what theme you’re using. Also, it would be helpful if you gave me the link to your webpage.

In reply to: How do I suppress the tag line under the title1. The edit button should only appear when you are logged in. Log out and tell us if it’s still there.
2. That line depends on the theme you are using. You can either use a new theme, modify the theme to remove the line, or fiddle around with CSS to make the line go away.

In reply to: My book blog1. Ah, okay, then it’s fine.
2. It’s just a correlation that I’ve seen. Based on experience, I have learned that I seem to get better knowledge from sources that don’t mix letters and numbers like that. However, there is a first time for everything. ??

In reply to: Blog Subscription WidgetWe want6? Meh. Oh well. Anyway, are you referring to the wordpress.com subscription widgit? I agree, with that being said, it doesn’t look like it’s to hard to make (just take the links widgit, and set it to automatically be a link to subscribe to the blog, etc…) I’ll have to look into it.
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: subscription pageYou need to get your visitors to go to the login page. You can do that by adding the meta widgit to your sidebar.

In reply to: My book blogOkay, two thoughts.
1. I’m not quite sure what your site is about, you should try to sell it faster. (Unless the whole website is a giant book review).
2. It is obviously a little late, but in general, I wouldn’t trust a website that mixes letters and numbers as you did (thr33 things), of course, that is a preference, and it may change from person to person.

In reply to: subscription pageYou could always log out, and try to find your registration page from within the site. If you can’t find it from there, than it’s not much of a page, as your users will never find it. Good luck.

In reply to: My book blogJust my personal preference, but I hate it when websites start playing media out of the blue, doubly so when the media is audio, and to turn it off, I have to go searching in the side bar (10x as much when there is no nob to turn it off).
