Thanks Tara, I shall give it a go but sadly know nothing about programing, someone else set the website up and has left me to it.

Andrew we found the header.php page and we found the start of head, ‘head profile’ and whph head but we were not sure where on the page we we supposed to insert the code.

Andrew I found someone who knows a bit about these things and she is that code on the server when I log onto WP and if so how do I get there, or if i have to download it to my PC how do I do that?

Thanks Andrew, you might have guessed but this isnt my forte. As it was working and I havent/cant write programmes why would it change from being able to work to not.?

Not really, it was more like when you look at an album on facebook with the sideways arrows to go to the next picture

All the pages had a slideshow facility/ you could click on a sideways arrow to advance or review the pictures, now they just come individually,

I have the same problem, it was there before I updated to 3.4.1 and it still does it which means people can easily logoff the site. I hope someone can guide me to a simple button I can click to restore the slideshow facility…please.

Thanks for the advice, I downloaded some software that cleaned the PC and autobacked up my files and then updated WordPress and now it works. I didnt want to have to pay someone again, it was ￡500 for the website but offering support wasn’t his forte!

I tried that Matthew but still nothing, its not even as if I am getting an error message, just a blank pop up with Add an image on the top left

yes, well I paid someone to set up a site for me, helping when it doesnt work doesnt seem to be part of the package! When I clicked on the plug ins page this is what i got
