In reply to: Widgets won't drag and drop in SidebarJust to be clear to everyone of the thread – I have resolved the drag and drop issue with the widgets. Now I’m just trying to get them to appear on my site.
@rsgrone I am hosted by BlueHost and do not have my own server. I can access C-Panel but am not confident to go rooting around in there by myself.

In reply to: Widgets won't drag and drop in Sidebar@apljdi As you can tell, I am not the most tech-savvy user out there ??
The widgets do not have ‘add’ or ‘edit’ in the left top corner. Since deactivating the plug-ins (see @esmi comment), I have been able to drag them to the sidebar menu on the Widget page.
Now to figure out why they are not appearing on my site!

In reply to: Reinstating default sidebar settings to be able to add widgetsOk, I found the archive file and reinstalled the original code in the sidebar.php file. Thanks!
However, when I go to Appearance > Widget, I am still unable to drag any available widgets over to the sidebar.
Any ideas on what may be up?
