Make sure you’re copying the entire key, because it is long — so long that Braintree’s control panel doesn’t allow you to view it all.

Set item price to 0 (zero), or use it in sandbox mode, or use a promo code with 100% discount…

This usually happens when the Keys are incorrect or incomplete. Pay attention to the CSE Key, because of the field type that contains it in Braintree admin, which is a bit unusual, it may happen that you didn’t copy the whole key.
