So anyone can confirm (or not) that there is no way to do it without creating my own category pages ?

If I understand well, to use this short code, I have to create my own category pages, one for each category and sub-category.

Right noww, I only use what woocommerce does itself.
My categories appears in my front page (I created) and shop page (created by woocommerce)
Then when user click on the category image, it goes to the page created by woocommerce (example : https://www.byaeni.fr/categorie-produit/enfance/) All text and images in this pages are from the frontoffice (Woocommerce/Products/Categories)

As checking everything from the initial configuration (WordPress to OVH SMTP service), I change to use Google one.
It works fine since then.

For me the ticket is resolved.

The thing is I’d like to have part of the text before the products and sub-categories and part of the text after the products. Because if I put 800 words before the products, visitors will go out of my site.

I precise I use storefront theme (with child-theme)

I’d like to understand why this is OK with the site used for test but not with the “real” one. The staging is on the same server….

Could it be an issue of wordpress unable to send mail with [email protected] which is under OVH ?

Same error again.

I am not sure about the “mail authenticated”
Email in WP SMTP was [email protected] (with xxxxx.fr is my domain on OVH) which is not the same as the one in the WordPress administration (which is [email protected])
I tried to change this last one to another [email protected]. This works.
I then tried to change it to [email protected] but then no confirmation mail received to confirm the wordpress administration mail change( nothing in spam of course).

I precise that when I send a mail FROM [email protected] to the hotmail adress this works fine and I receive it.
The WP SMTP configuration is :
– other
– ssl0.ovh.net
– encryption : TLS
– port : 587
– SMTP login : [email protected]
