(Problem Exists Between Keyboard And Chair)
OMGosh yes. I use this locally all the time and have for a year now – months before the OP gave his 1-star rating. I use it to make frequent backups of my local XAMPP running on a USB thumb drive and from time to time I use it to move sites from local to a WWW address and from a WWW address to local. This is a fantastic plugin and is among my list of required ones I never start a new site without.

In reply to: Core WordPress Editor Hyperlink Double-Quote Bug?Thank you for your reply and for moving this to the proper place.
I created an example for you on my “play” domain where I have three instances – one without a link, one with just the text linked, and one with the text and double-quotes linked.
Notice how the middle one reverses the closing double-quote:
Ah! Excellent. I’m getting ready to download and check out the developer version, but just tried what you said about the current one and noticed the little curly refresh arrow you mentioned. Actually, that’s a nice implementation so I can give my own name, go with the running default, or use today’s date stamp.
Thank you. Again, fantastic plugin.

In reply to: [Asteroid] Home Link For Header When Image OnlySame here. ??
Listen, I contacted the author of this theme RonAngelo, and he was extremely helpful. In fact (not saying he will do this now) but I paid him to completely customize my site.
I do recall I was having a number of centering issues and was pleased he was more than willing to put together what I needed to make my site work correctly. I’ve since made all kinds of additional changes (it’s the best way to learn HTML/CSS, right? ??
My site was going big over the summer but I took it down for a few months. My site is back up now with a scheduled “new opening” on December 1.

In reply to: [Asteroid] Home Link For Header When Image OnlyWell darn. I’m trying to figure out where the conflict is. Not sure just how familiar with HTML you are, but CSS stands for cascading style sheets. That means some elements can be ignored if another declarion of that element is present in a cascading fashion.
Basically, there may be CSS code somewhere else that is forcing the header to stay to the left even though in the style.css you say to center it.
Hmmm, I just thought of something. When you uploaded the image, did you click the dot next to center for the image to be centered? If all you did was add the url hyperlink, go back and check because the default for the image is to hang to the left and I believe that overrides the style.css…

In reply to: [Asteroid] Home Link For Header When Image OnlyI now remember when I first used the theme I had that problem. Go into the style.css in the theme folder and find #header-info-wrap and modify that line to look like this:
#header-info-wrap {text-align: center;}
Edit: Even though it says text-align, it will center the image you are using for the header.

In reply to: [Asteroid] Home Link For Header When Image OnlyEdit, to make clearer.
When viewing the code for the homepage using Chrome (right-click header image and select inspect element) there is a header and header-info-wrap declaration.
When selecting the line that says header I see both images are highlighted. But when selecting the line with header-info-wrap then only the first image is highlighted. You might try removing one of those (don’t forget to remove the trailing <div> tag too.
Edit #2: It appears that what is happening is both header and header-info-wrap are each displaying an image. I’d remove the header one. I bet that is what the issue is. Because it’s not a header tag, like <header> but rather a css class called header, and that may be where the double display of the header image is coming from.

In reply to: [Asteroid] Home Link For Header When Image OnlyIt looks like you set it to tile (repeat) the image rather than centering a single image. The hyperlink only works on the first image while the second one is just a static image.

In reply to: [Asteroid] Home Link For Header When Image OnlyWhen you click “upload” a shadowbox appears where you can drag-n-drop an image to use as the logo. When you do that a new screen appears that allows you to set the image attributes, including a link-to url, which you can type there the homepage of your site.

In reply to: [Asteroid] Home Link For Header When Image Onlytylercook10811,
When an image is used for the header/title of the site you have the option of hyperlinking that image. So I used an image and then made the hyperlink the address of my site’s homepage. So now no matter where you are on the site, simply clicking the title at the top will instantly take you to the front page of the site.

In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] General Customization HelpAbsolutely!
Also, after the last few caffeine-driven hours, I’ve almost got the exact result I was wanting, but it is requiring a major rewrite to your plugin and as a result breaks it when I add a feed from another source, which is kinda senseless for me to do this for just one rss source.
So I think I’m going to just load them on a page instead where shortcodes make everything much easier and I can get the result I’m looking for and load my other feeds in the widget where they all look great without tweaking.
As for your plugin’s quality, it’s definitely a 5-star one and I’m going to head over and rate it right now.

In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] General Customization HelpThank you so much for your time and what you said makes perfect sense since the rss feed, now that I look at it, is formatted as you say.
I made the change you show on my local XAMPP server and see the difference already.
I’ll look into a few other things, but you’ve certainly got me to both understand a bit more about your plugin, and to recognize the issue faced by how the data come in via the raw rss feed.
Thanks again!
