I had the same problem – it came out of nowhere and I just couldn’t figure out what was going on. I tried switching off Jetpack’s sharing, disabling all my plugins, fiddling with the code, changing themes, but all to no avail. Then as a last resort, someone suggested I try this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/facebook-open-graph-meta-in-wordpress/ and it seems to have sorted things out.

I nearly didn’t try it because that particular plugin hasn’t been updated in 2 years, plus I couldn’t see why in the world it would make any difference, but for me it has worked. I no longer get that Facebook warning message or any others. (After installing, I did have to clear the cache from my site and browser before it kicked in though.)

The plugin does ask you for a Default Image URL but that doesn’t make any difference to me, as like you, I use featured images, which override it.

Just wanted to add that I have now turned off all my plugins to make sure one of them wasn’t causing the issue – still no dropdown menus. Far as I can see, this really does have to be a WP/Mantra update problem.

Me too. You know, digging around, I’m beginning to wonder if it’s actually the WP update rather than Mantra. It would be really great if someone who is better at looking at code than me could confirm this though.

I’ve experienced the same problem. I’ve been using this social locker successfully for about two months and last week happened to install W3 Total Cache only to find that it stopped working. As sooon as I uninstalled W3 Toral Cache, all was well again.

There’s obviously a clash here, so if you need to use OnePress Social Locker I’d stay away fron 3 Total Cache for now.
