Oops, sorry, no I’m not on 1 & 1 … I’m at vodahost … they don’t offer support for wordpress installations, so I have to muddle through on my own ?? That’s ok, I’m taking this opportunity to have a fresh start, lol.

Mmm, had the same problem, tried this solution, got a page full of interesting gibberish and a broken blog. Now trying to manually go back to 2.7. Sigh.

Perl modules don’t really apply here … as wordpress runs in PHP.

Looks like my server is using the following:

I just grabbed all the XML Perl modules that they list …

Sorry I’ve removed the “example” posts … couldn’t leave the ugly stuff on my site indefinitely…

I’ve meanwhile upgraded to WordPress 2.7 as well, still having the same problem. My web host denies any problem on their side… they’re running linux, but I can’t determine which distro exactly.
